The Tough Love Cast Goes on Training Dates, Taylor Returns

In the previous episode of VH1's reality show Tough Love, the cast members arrived at the house where they met Tough Love host and matchmaker Steven Ward - only they didn't realize they met him, since he went undercover disguised as an eligible bachelor taking part in a speed dating event in order to get a realistic idea of how these relationship-challenged women interact with men.
Matchmaker Steven Ward discovered that he's got his work cut out for him with this group of women who lack confidence, trust, and a "filter" to keep them from saying all the wrong things to men. Ward started the show with a reality check where the women were told to walk past a group of three men who then shared their very honest -- painfully honest, in some cases -- first impressions of each Tough Love cast member.
After showing the women the video footage of the feedback, Ward revealed that he would be treating the ladies to makeovers to help them create a better first impression; a first impression that's more in line with who they really are as individuals.The cast of Tough Love is then sent into a room of men to socialize while putting Ward's advice into practice.
The first episode of Tough Love concluded with Taylor's mysterious hospitalization and viewers are left wondering if she'll return to the cast of the new VH1 reality television series.
What Happened on Tough Love? - Episode Two
The second episode of Tough Love begins with a trip to the gym where the reality TV show's cast members work with attractive male personal trainers. What the cast of Tough Love doesn't realize is that the men are reporting back to Matchmaker Steven Ward on their first impressions of and interactions with the women.
"The only thing she was missing was a whistle and whip," Ward said when discussing Stasha, who again came off as bossy and harsh and cold.
Arian, on the other hand, completely lacks a filter. Within minutes of meeting the man, she's talking about her failed relationships, her trust issues and her intimacy issues.
Another Tough Love cast member who did poorly was Jody, who discussed her career non-stop.
The Tough Love Cast Goes on Dates
With feedback from their visit to the gym fresh in mind, the cast of Tough Love gets to go out on dates.
Abiola gets a special treat when Terrance - the man whom she met during her a dating event in the first episode - returns for a special date since the two had a clear connection that wasn't wasted on Matchmaker Steven Ward.
Meanwhile, the rest of the cast is sent to a restaurant to meet their dates. But there's a catch. Each woman is wearing electrodes attached to a little receiver box that gives the woman a shock when Steve presses a button. Steve uses the mild electric shocks to give the women feedback when they take the conversation to areas where no first date chat should ever go.
Again, Stasha comes off poorly, this time due to bragging about her centerfold model status with a prominent men's magazine and even picking her nose.
But even worse is Jody, who almost exclusively discusses her career - exactly what Steve advised her to avoid. To make matters worse, Jody's date asks her if she's ready to pursue a relationship and unfortunately, she can't provide an answer.
Arian actually manages to shine in this date, taking Matchmaker Steve Ward's advice and putting it into practice by talking about positive topics rather than topics in the danger zone, which includes past relationships, politics, finances and anything negative.
And although she came off poorly in the Tough Love cast's visit to the gym, Jessa performs extremely well on her date. Jessa is absolutely smitten with her date, and she's engaging and charming.
Taylor Returns to the Tough Love Cast
Much to the dismay of Jody and many of the other cast members, Taylor returns to the house and she's louder, ditzier and pushier than ever.
