In the previous episode of Rock of Love Bus, the cast members took part in a "wedding" with Bret, as each girl had the chance to read her wedding vows to Bret.
Bret picks three girls as the winners of the challenge: Taya, Brittanya and Farrah. The three Rock of Love Bus cast members won a date that included a picnic and hayride. During the date, Bret made a clear connection with Taya on an intellectual level, while Brittanya got Bret's attention on a more physical level.
During the episode two elimination ceremony, Bret hands out backstage passes until just six girls remain: Brittaney, Melissa, Marcia, Megan, Constandina and Samantha.
Just when it seems that the three "troublemakers" are about to get sent home, Bret gives backstage passes to Brittaney, Melissa and Marcia; this means Samantha, Constandina and Megan are eliminated and sent home at the end of the second episode of Rock of Love Bus.
A Summary of Rock of Love Bus Episode Three
Episode three begins with the announcement that the girls are headed to Champagne, Illinois. A while later, the Rock of Love girls arrive at an ice skating rink for their challenge: they must get a "baby Bret" doll into one of three hockey nets or "cribs." Each net has a different point value; the team with the most points wins.
The kicker? Rock of Love villain Lacey Connor joins members of a girls' college hockey team; their mission is to prevent the Rock of Love Bus cast members from scoring points.
In a smart move, Beverly - the down-to-earth, athletic Tomboy girl of the bunch - pretends that she's a terrible ice skater. The other girls underestimate her and she's picked dead last to join one of the three teams. But when Beverly hits the ice during the competition, she reveals that she can ice skate - very well! Beverly's team, which includes Maria, Melissa and Brittaney wins the challenge by scoring five points on their first of three tries.
Melissa, Maria, Brittaney and Beverly win a date with Bret, who decides to bring the girls to a strip club. While the other three girls eagerly jump on stage, Beverly keeps her clothes on and refuses to perform a pole dance. Bret takes Beverly aside, calling her a "buzz kill," but Bret seems to give Beverly a pass when she explains that she's a mother of three who does not want her children to see her acting inappropriately on television.
After Bret's Date With Brittaney, Beverly, Melissa and Maria...
While the challenge winners are spending time with Bret, the other Rock of Love Bus cast members start to explore Brittaney's bunk, looking for the source of a bad smell. What they find is rather shocking: Brittaney has collected their dirty socks. It seems that after the cast members had left the locker room at the ice skating rink, Brittaney returned and collected the girls' dirty socks in a moment of reality television gold.
After the date, Brittaney is ridiculed for collecting and keeping the dirty socks.
But the cast members' attention quickly shifts to Melissa. During the night, Melissa is heard talking to her boyfriend on a cell phone. As if talking to her boyfriend wasn't scandal enough, Melissa starts to say some pretty nasty things about Bret - she discusses his hair extensions, the fact that he looks old and Melissa also says that she doesn't like Bret "as a person."
The next morning, Farrah and Ashley take it upon themselves to tell Bret about Melissa's cell phone conversation. When Bret confronts Melissa, she flatly denies making the phone call.
The Elimination: Who Gets Sent Home on Rock of Love Bus?
Bret starts the elimination ceremony by addressing Melissa. "I suspected you had a boyfriend from the beginning," Bret tells her as he eliminates Melissa from the Rock of Love Bus cast.
Bu Melissa is just one of two girls to get eliminated. The backstage passes are handed out until just Beverly and Brittaney remain, but in the end, Brittaney the "sock stealer" is sent home, leaving ten Rock of Love Bus cast members in the running for Bret's affections.
