VH1's Megan Wants a Millionaire - Episode 1Megan Hauserman Meets the Cast, Three Men are Eliminated
Meet the Megan Wants a Millionaire cast in this first episode of the new VH1 reality show with Megan Hauserman, of Rock of Love 2 fame.
Megan Wants a Millionaire premiered on August 2, 2009, Megan Hauserman and her chihuahua Lily met the 17 millionaires comprising the cast of Megan Wants a Millionaire. Who is Megan Hauserman?Megan Hauserman first appeared on Beauty and the Geek, but it wasn't until Rock of Love 2 that she really caught viewers' attention with her seemingly endless collection of bathing suits and her snobby attitude. When Megan lost Bret Michaels' affections in Rock of Love 2, she went on to appear on VH1's reality shows I Love Money and Charm School 2, where she declared her life's goal: to become a trophy wife. So 51 Minds Production Company decided to help Megan in achieving her goal of attaining trophy wife status with her own reality show, Megan Wants a Millionaire. Meeting the Cast of Megan Wants a Millionaire The first episode of Megan Wants a Millionaire begins with the arrival of the 17 millionaire cast members. Megan is on the doorstep of the Hollywood mansion with her black and white chihuahua Lily to greet the cast of diverse rich men:
What Happened on the First Episode of Megan Wants a Millionaire? After their arrival in Megan's mansion, the reality show star distributed gifts to each of the cast members, ranging from a glittery, silver piggy bank and a literal key (to Megan's heart, of course), to an apron bearing Megan's photo and a framed photo of Megan's dog, Lily. Following their introductions and gift distribution, the Megan Wants a Millionaire cast took part in the traditional first episode mixer. Megan's friends, a slim blonde named Cecile and fellow reality show star, Brandi C., also attended the mixer, acting as Megan's consultants. During the mixer, Megan had an opportunity to meet the millionaires. Al made a not-so-good splash at the mixer, when he startled Megan with his "dog jaw" trick, causing her to pour wine down the front of her dress. Audi also made a negative impression, coming off as rough-around-the-edges with rude language and less-than-classy mannerisms. Donald, who is in his 50s and (in a physical sense), very unlike most of the men that Megan typically dates, came off as easy-going and humorous as he chatted with Megan, but he was clearly at risk for elimination from the very beginning. "Donald has a lot going for him. He can put me in movies!," Megan explains, adding, "I'm just not sure if I can get past the 100% lack of physical attraction...but I can try!" Outgoing Garth fails to impress Megan, both with his credentials and his behavior. "Garth doesn't just own a plumbing company. He's the actual plumber," Megan explains, with a clear air of disgust. Garth has the distinction of being the first man to get involved in a spat with trust fund baby Joe. Loud, brightly-dressed Garth smashes Joe's piggy bank for no apparent reason when he assails Joe and a few of the more sophisticated millionaires in a clear insecurity-driven outburst. Sharay, better known as "The Punisher" leaves a good impression on Megan during a brief chat, but the reality television star appears a bit disgusted when he shows off his six-pack – complete with a large birthmark that "looks like a map of Cuba." Who Gets Eliminated and Sent Home from Megan Wants a Millionaire? At the end of the first episode, Megan has to send home three of the millionaires. During the Megan Wants a Millionaire elimination, Megan hands out credit cards to the cast members, declaring "Your credit is good with me." For the men who are going to be eliminated, their credit cards are to be declined. Ryan is the first to get a credit card, followed by Corey, Francisco and The Punisher. As the credit cards are handed out, it becomes clear that Donald, Al, James and Audi are on the chopping block. "Audi and I have absolutely nothing in common. And for James, I'm not saying I couldn't fall in love with a guy with no money. I'm just saying, if given the option, why wouldn't I pick a guy with money to fall in love with?" Megan says about her decision to eliminate rough-around-the-edges Audi and James, who has yet to receive his inheritance of millions. The final two men up for elimination are movie producer Donald and Al, who spilled wine on Megan. But in the end, Donald is sent home and eliminated due to Megan's complete lack of physical attraction, combined with her suspicions that Donald is more fan than potential boyfriend.
