Last week's Bob Mackie sequin challenge tested how well the designers could create a flashy stage look. The winning design sought inspiration from Christina Aguilera who is known for her outlandish outfits. In the end, Carol Hannah won the challenge while Shirin was let go.
The remaining seven designers felt the competitive spirit coming out from each other. Carol Hannah missed her roommate Shirin, but at the same time was happy to have won the challenge.
Heidi met the designers at the runway and told them Tim would be taking them to Rodeo Drive to meet a well-known designer. The designers were stumped as to who it might be since so many world-renowned designers are located there.

Project Runway Top 7 Episode 10 Recap: The Challenge
The designers met Tim on Rodeo Drive at Michael Kors store where he was the special guest this week. Michael shared that specific locations inspired his designs. For the Michael Kors challenge, each designer would select one of Michael's inspiration locations as his or her inspiration for this week's challenge.
Carol Hannah was first to select and she chose Palm Beach. Nicolas picked Greece, Althea selected St. Tropez, Gordana quickly grabbed New York, Irina chose Aspen, Christopher picked Santa Fe, and Logan received Hollywood.
The designers had 30 minutes to sketch and a $150 budget for Mood. The design would need to be completed by the end of the night.
Irina decided to make an ambitious 3 pieces of outwear while Nicolas wanted to create a fantasy tomboy Grecian look. Carol Hannah wished she had purchased more fabric as she designed an elegant gown.
The designers felt lots of pressure this week since Michael Kors would be judging their looks based on his inspirations. Tim showed up to check on their progress. Gordana explained her focus but Tim was worried that she hadn't yet started sewing.
Tim pushed Christopher to elevate his look while Irina made snide comments about Christopher's level of design. Irina explained her design while Tim gave her good marks for using her time well so far. She continued to complain that the other designer's weren't doing a good enough job.
Project Runway Top 7 Episode 10 Recap: Runway Reaction
Heidi Klum, Nina Garcia, and Michael Kors were joined on the judging panel by actress Milla Jovovich.
Heidi called forward Althea and told her she was safe this week. The remaining six designers had the highest and lowest scores.
Irina explained her 3-piece look and Milla found it cool while Heidi thought it was an incredible job. Christopher explained his design and Michael thought he missed the mark. Carol Hannah described her beach look and Nina loved the braiding done to the back of the dress.
Michael didn't feel Nicolas found his inspiration in Greece but instead Grease, the movie. Milla loved the necklace in Gordana's design and Michael found it well done. Nina didn't feel Logan styled his design enough and Heidi thought it was just ok.
Project Runway Winner Announced & One Designer Eliminated: Auf Wiedersehen
The six remaining designers returned to the runway. Heidi informed Carol Hannah that she was in and then announced Irina the challenge winner.
Heidi then informed Gordana and Logan that they were safe this week. Heidi told Nicolas that he sadly missed the mark while to Christopher she told him it was wishy-washy. Heidi then told Christopher that he was in while Nicolas was eliminated.
