SYTYCD Top 4 Group Dance and Top Two Guy & Girl Performance Recaps Each week the dancers draw new partners while Canadians vote for their favourite individual dancer each week. Tonight's dances featured solos, two pair dances, and group routines. Top Four Dance: The top four performed a group dance choreographed by Tony and Melanie. The cabaret style dance featured the men in tuxes and the women in garters. All of the dancers put on an entertaining routine. Blake found it sensual and thought the girls out shined the men. Top Two Guys: Vincent and Everett danced a hip-hop routine choreographed by Sho-Tyme. A fast-paced number, neither guy could seriously pass for a hip-hop dancer, but Everett seemed to have a slight advantage. Luther explained how hard the choreography was and overlooked the mistakes made by the dancers. Blake thought it was fun to watch. Top Two Girls: Tara Jean and Jayme Rae drew mambo with Tony and Melanie. A fun dance full of shaking in which Jayme Rae gave a sexier interpretation than Tara Jean. The judges had nothing but good things to say about the sensual number. Blake stated a girl will definetly win the show this year. SYTYCD Top 4 Pair & Solo Performance Recaps Everett & Tara Jean: The dancers drew jazz and were choreographed by Sean Cheesman. A poignant and emotional dance about a couple sharing their final moments together. Tara Jean was knocking it out of the park until she fell toward the end. Everett did a respectable job. Tre found it believable and thinks Tara Jean is the top girl. Everett & Jayme Rae: The dancers drew samba and where choreographed by Eric Caty and Kelly Lannan. Jayme Rae tore up the dance floor while Everett gave a goofy, non-believable performance. Blake didn't see the partnership or hip movement in Everett but thought Jayme Rae killed it. Vincent & Jayme Rae: The dancers drew contemporary and were choreographed by Stacey Tookey. A solid routine by both dancers although Jayme Rae danced much stronger than Vincent. Jean Marc thought the pair performed well and told Vincent he is the alpha male in the competition. Vincent & Tara Jean: The dancers drew hustle and were choreographed by Maria Torres. The dance was entertaining but Vincent looked very much like a ballroom dancer in the routine. Blake loved the number and thought one of these two dancers might win tonight. Everett Solo: Everett served up a funky tap number which the crowd loved. The judges wished him the best but no one suggested that he might win the competition. Vincent Solo: Vincent gave his best solo to date and engaged with the audience. Luther found him 'fresh' for a ballroom dude who grew over the competition. Tara Jean Solo: Tara Jean danced a fun and entertaining contemporary piece. Blake thought she had star quality and hinted he thought she would win. Jayme Rae Solo: Jayme Rae danced a quirky mix of ballroom and contemporary. Luther felt she gives her all every time she hits the stage. Tre told her that she wants to work with her after the show is over. Who will win? Leave a comment below to share thoughts on who should win the competition.
