Top 16 So You Think You Can Dance CanadaElimination Show Recap SYTYCD Season 2 Top Sixteen Results S0206
The SYTYCD season 2 Top 16 results show kicked off with an Afro-Brazilian routine followed by the voting results. Who was kicked off? Who was eliminated?
With 16 SYTYCD dancers this week, who did the public decide to support? Based on audience response last night, it appeared Daniel and Jayme Rae were one of the most popular couples. An Afro-Brazilian opening dance choreographed by Jean Marc and his wife France was said to be steamy and hot by Leah. With colorful costumes and a jungle's worth of foliage, the dancers delivered a fun routine. It didn't seem as steamy as Leah said it would be, but it was enjoyable. The first four couples were brought on stage and Everett & Tara Jean, Emanuel & Kim, Danny & Natalie were safe while Nicholas & Jenna Lynn were in the bottom set of couples. The remaining four couples were brought on stage and Daniel & Jayme Rae, Austin & Corynne were safe while Vincent & Amy and Melanie & Cody were in the bottom set of couples. The following So You Think You Can Dance Canada show results contains spoilers. Each dancer's performance may be reviewed, including who was voted off the show. SYTYCD Top 16 Show Results - SYTYCD Canada Bottom 3 Women From this week's votes, Canada chose to place the following three women up for possible elimination. Bottom Three Women:
First up was Jenna Lynn in a bad performance where she fell right at the beginning, clearly her nerves were hard at work. The routine didn't really recover. Amy brought a sexy number but didn't spend much time dancing but instead posing and turning through her allotted time. Melanie delivered a solid routine in which she seemed connected to both the dance and music. Based on prior weeks, Melanie remains one of the strongest female dancers while it's a toss-up between Jenna Lynn and Amy. Jenna Lynn is the one who seems to have not shown the audience her true personality. Jean Marc told Amy she was safe, then informed Melanie she was safe. Jenna Lynn burst into tears and explained that the competition helped her to find herself. She thanked the judges unlike the prior two weeks where the eliminated women exhibited anger. Unlike the US version, Jean Marc did not acknowledge Jenna Lynn or offer up any parting words. First up was Nicholas with a b-boy routine to a latin ballroom dance song. The music was a poor choice and his routine not much better. Vincent danced a comical ballroom routine which the audience seemed to enjoy, but it didn't seem to live up to his talent. Cody delivered a trademark routine but it just didn't seem very complex. The men didn't offer up striking performances which may complicate the judging. Based on prior weeks, Nicholas seems the most out of his element. Tre told Nicholas he is an entertainer while Vincent is the most versatile dancer. She told Cody he is popular and fun to watch. Tre called Cody forward and told him he was safe. Tre then called Nicholas forward and praised him for his work and then dismissed him from the competition. Eliminated: Nicholas Get the Latest Episode Summaries & NewsRead the SYTYCD episode recaps Performances are held on Tuesday nights with voting results airing Wednesday night on CTV.
