Elimination Show Recap Season 2 Top Ten Danced a Group Tookey Number

The Top 10 results show kicked off with a moving Stacey Tookey routine followed by the voting results. Who was voted off? Who was eliminated?

This week the competition changed as the top ten dancers now had to select new dance partners. And each week leading up to the finale, the dancers will continue to draw new partners. Everett & Kim danced a stellar jazz routine while Austin didn't look as polished in the hip-hop number he danced with Jayme Rae.

This week almost marks a change in voting process -- fans will now vote for which individual dance they wish to keep in the competition. Tonight will give everyone good insight into which dancers the fans truly like best now that the dancers are no longer in pairs. Who will be voted off? Who will be eliminated?

The top 10 dancers started off tonight's results show with a beautifully moving group contemporary routine in which Tara Jean is thrown across the stage. Definitely one of the better group pieces to grace the stage this season, which of course was choreographed by the lovely Stacey Tookey.

Starting this week, only two men and two women will be placed in the bottom two. Leah started the results show by calling forward the top 5 girls. After reviewing the previous night's performances, Leah announced Kim, Tara Jean, and Jayme Rae safe while Amy and Melanie were in the bottom two girls.

Leah continued by bringing the top 5 guys on stage. She then announced Everett, Vincent, and Emanuel safe while Cody and Austin were in the bottom two guys.

From this week's votes, Canada chose to place the following two women up for possible elimination.

First up to dance was Amy who danced a beautiful contemporary piece. Next up was Melanie, also with a solid contemporary routine. Between the two, Melanie performed a more technical piece and appeared to express more emotion.

First up to dance was Cody with a slow hip-hop piece that had young girls screaming and clapping along. Austin delivered what appeared to be a Michael Jackson inspired break dancing routine. What was he thinking? Seriously, it was so out of character, not in his style, and not very good.
