TLC's Making Over America Shows Three and Four
Trinny and Susannah Head for Delaware and Georgia

"Making Over America" hosts Trinny and Susannah, fresh of triumphs in Virginia and Maryland, point their Airstream north to Delaware to help Natalie out of a fashion rut. Natalie toils as the manager of a trio of bed and breakfasts in Rehoboth Beach, and sports a lumpy, oversized cardigan over a uniform tee and cropped men's khakis.
Making Over America Episode Three
Trinny and Susannah arrive at the Sea Witch Inn, Natalie's place of employ. and find Natalie's basement apartment in disarray with one lumpy, drab clothing item after another. Natalie despairs of meeting anyone since she works 16 hour days with only one day off weekly. Trinny and Susannah drop their frocks and wedgies, don the uniform and help Natalie with her duties. The sight of the duo in rubber glove scrubbing showers is a total sketch.
They take a break from their duties for a gathering of friends of the inn's owners. Rehoboth Beach is gay-friendly so some of the attendees are men in drag and women with close-cropped hair and cargo shorts. Trinny and Susannah wow the crowd with tips on colors to wear if you're top or bottom heavy. Smiles all around.
Meanwhile, that night in the trailer, the duo watch via video as Natalie tries on items from the storied Look Box. Natalie looks dreamy in a one-piece halter top brown boy leg swimsuit, but is clearly uncomfortable with her body and showing it. Trinny and Susannah cluck sympathetically and vow to help Natalie with shopping tomorrow. They note that the ratty cardigan Natalie often wears is a symbol of how uncomfortable she is showing herself. They also agree this woman needs a party so she can get to know people in town.
The next day Trinny and Susannah take Natalie shopping for undergarments and bras. Susannah drops her shaper garment and shows Natalie her post-three children tummy pooch and tells her that her midsection is flat and lovely and she should buy clothes that fit more closely to her body. Natalie also needs some color in her life and clothing to project the authority she has as the inn manager.
Natalie shops while Trinny and Susannah photograph her in the new outfits. They send her off to the hairdresser while they organize her closet with shoes, accessories and the outfits back at the B&B. Natalie emerges from the salon with a stylish do for her blonde hair and a dress that makes her cornflower blue eyes pop. Trinny and Susannah drop the cloth from the mirror. Natalie is overcome by the reveal.
The episode ends with a party where the mayor of Rehoboth Beach gives Natalie a key to the city. Natalie is toasted by her co-workers and gleefully goes about making new friends.
Making Over America Episode Four
Trinny and Susannah make their way to Savannah, Ga. to help former dancer turned candy store worker Paula overcome a nearly terminal case of frumpiness. Paula is a fun-loving, church-going gal who has a curtain of indifferent hair and closet full of beige, black and white clothes. The candy store where she works is a riot of color where Trinny and Susannah fit right in. They don the store's black and white uniforms set about to pull taffy, craft pralines and other tasks. Both eat as much as they make. They give some wardrobe advice to Paula's co-workers and spirit Paula off.
Paula gets to speed date and a couple of the fellas seem to take a shine to her, but each says she's not dressed in a way that would turn heads. Trinny and Susannah take to their Airstream and watch video of Paula going through the Look Box. The key items are a pink top and an electric orange skirt. Paula seems a bit put off by the combo but does seem to understand that more color is needed.
The shopping day goes smoothly as Paula learns to love color and show of her best assets, her toned dancer's bum. Trinny and Susannah send her off for a haircut and an eyebrow grooming session while they tart up Paula's closet with her new looks.
The obligatory party shows Paula in her new look surrounded by pals from church and work. Also in attendance are the guys from speed dating. Paula seems to be making the connections she needs to get out of her rut. Trinny and Susannah toast a job well done and head off to find the next woman in need.
