Brothers Finish First; Maria and Tiffany Eliminated

Dating couple Meghan and Cheyne were the first couple to arrive at the Pit Stop in Dubai in the last leg of The Amazing Race. Therefore, they were the first team to leave, and received the clue to fly to Amsterdam. Arriving at the airport, they discovered the first flight to Amsterdam didn't leave for another five hours, which would allow the rest of the teams to catch up.
Arriving In Amsterdam
The teams all arrived in Amsterdam on the same flight. Upon landing, teams were instructed to drive themselves to find the Lely Monument at the Afsluitdijk causeway connecting North Holland and Friesland. Brian could not figure out how to put his car in gear, causing him and teammate Ericka to fall behind the other teams.
The remaining five teams all quickly found the Lely Monument and their next clue. This clue sent teams to drive to the city Groningen and find Martinitoren, the highest building in the city.
Counting The Bells At The Roadblock
Arriving at Martinitoren, teams encountered a Roadblock. One team member had to navigate the narrow stairs of the building's bell tower, counting the bells as they wound their way upward. Once they thought they had the correct number, they were to present the number to the carillon player. If the number was correct, the carillon player would give them their next clue.
Meghan and Cheyne, and Sam and Dan, were the first teams to arrive at Martinintoren. Meghan and Sam, working for their teams, elected to do the Roadblock together. Matt and Gary arrived shortly thereafter, and Matt soon passed Meghan and Sam at the top of the tower. All three teammates presented the carillon player with the correct number of bells, and received the next clue, directing them to drive to Vierhuizen de Marne and find the big windmill. On the way out of the bell tower, Sam gave Tiffany the answer, so she was able to get the clue quickly. Ericka performed the task for her team and had difficulty from the beginning. She gave the carillon player several numbers before finally getting the correct number of 62.
Detour of Farmer's Game or Farmer's Dance
Arriving at the windmill at Vierhuizen de Marne, teams received the next clue, a Detour. In this Detour, teams had the choice of Farmer's Game or Farmer's Dance. Teams had to wear traditional Dutch costumes for both Detours, one male and one female, complete with wooden shoes. After getting dressed, teams were to ride bicycles to the start of their choice of Detour.
In Farmer's Game, teams had to strip down to their Dutch underwear and swim across a creek. Once across the creek, teams had to play three holes of golf using clubs shaped like wooden shoes. Teammates were to alternate shots, and had to complete each hole within eight strokes or less in order to receive the next clue.
In Farmer's Dance, teams were to find a country festival. One team member had to ring the bell at the high striker, then learn a Dutch dance and perform it correctly. After performing the dance, each teammate had to eat a salted herring in order to receive their next clue.
Matt and Gary, Sam and Dan, and Meghan and Cheyne all attempted golf. Sam and Dan finished first, while the other two teams struggled. Maria and Tiffany chose to dance, but after 30 attempts at trying to ring the bell at the high striker, they changed detours and attempted golf. Flight Time and Big Easy chose to dance, and finished their Detour successfully. Meanwhile, Maria and Tiffany were not having any luck at golf and returned to the dance. After almost 100 attempts at the high striker, they returned to golf once again.
Brian and Ericka arrived at the Detour last. Once dressed, they started walking to the Detour start, having missed the fact that they were to ride bicycles. They arrived at the Detour on foot, chose Farmer's Dance, and completed in successfully.
Zoutkamp Harbor Pit Stop
Sam and Dan arrived at the Pit Stop in first place, followed by Meghan and Cheyne, and Matt and Gary. The Globetrotters arrived at the mat in fourth place. A stunned Brian and Ericka arrived in fifth place, but they received a thirty minute penalty for not following directions, walking to the Detour instead of riding a bicycle. They had to wait out the penalty before host Phil Keoghan could check them in. The thirty minute penalty expired before the last team arrived at the Pit Stop, allowing Brian and Ericka to stay in The Amazing Race.
After the other teams had checked in, Phil went out to Tiffany and Maria, who were still attempting to compete the Detour. The poker players elected to quit, and were elimated from The Amazing Race.
