Meghan and Cheyne Fast Forward; Lance and Keri Eliminated

Sam and Dan left the Pit Stop at Wat Phnom in Cambodia in first place, since Zev and Justin could not find Zev's passport and were eliminated in the previous leg of The Amazing Race.
World's Tallest Building
Teams left the Pit Stop and received their first clue, which instructed them to fly to the Persian Gulf and find the world's tallest building, where they would receive their next clue. After researching on the internet, teams discovered the the world's tallest building was located in Dubai. The building, the Burj Dubai, is still under construction, but is twice the height of the Empire State Building in New York.
Once teams arrived at the building, they were instructed to sign up for one of two elevator trips that would take them to the 124th floor of the building. Since the teams arrived in Dubai at night, they had to wait until the next morning to ride the elevator.
Teams did not know what was in store for them as they rode the elevator in two groups to the 124th floor. Many teams speculated that they would have to bungee jump off of the building. Once they arrived at the designated floor, teams found a clue that instructed them to find a parking garage, select a marked vehicle and travel to the Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve. Teams also received information about the only Fast Forward on this season of The Amazing Race.
A Speedy Fast Forward
Meghan and Cheyne elected to attempt the Fast Forward. To successfully complete the Fast Forward, they had to go to the Dubai Autodrome and drive an F3 open-wheel race car around the track. At a speed of 100 miles per hour or more, one team member had to complete a lap in under forty-five seconds before the team could receive their next clue. Cheyne chose to drive, and finished his first lap in only forty seconds. The couple was then able to skip all other tasks for this leg of the race, fast-forwarding to the Pit Stop.
Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve
The other teams drove themselves to the Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve, where 4-wheel drive vehicles awaited to drive them across the sand to another clue box. Teams were faced with a Roadblock, where one member of each team had to search the desert for an urn containing water, fill a water bag and return their bag to a Bedouin in order to receive their next clue.
One by one team members headed out over the sun-baked desert searching for a full urn, finding only empty ones. Brian was the first to find the full urn, followed quickly by Tiffany and Dan, whom he told where to look. The Bedouin gave teams their next clue, directing them to Ski Dubai, an indoor ski resort.
Ski Dubai Detour
At Ski Dubai, teams were given a Detour. They had to choose between Build a Snowman or Find a Snowman. In Build a Snowman, teams had to carry snow from inside the ski resort into the extreme heat outside, and build a traditional snowman. Teams would have to work fast to keep the snowman from melting before they finished the task. In Find a Snowman, teams had to sled down a mountain inside the ski resort, stopping at a pile of snow. Then they had to dig through the pile and find a small snowman figure. All teams chose Find a Snowman, figuring the task would be easier than building a snowman in the heat. Ericka found a snowman first, while the other teams continued searching. Becoming frustrated with the search, one by one the remaining teams switched to the other task, leaving only the Globetrotters still searching. Persistence paid off for Flight Time and Big Easy, as they finally found a snowman.
Souk Madnet Jimirah Pit Stop
Because of the Fast Forward, Megan and Cheyne arrived at the Pit Stop several hours before the other teams arrived. Brian and Ericka were second, followed the Globetrotters, Gary and Matt, Sam and Dan, Maria and Tiffany and Mika and Canaan. After a day of getting lost on the streets of Dubai, Lance and Keri arrived in last place, and they were eliminated from The Amazing Race.
