Harlem Globetrotter teammates Flight Time and Big Easy arrived at the last Pit Stop in first place, making them the first team able to leave the next morning. The clue teams received as they were leaving the Pit Stop at Reunification Palace directed them to fly to their next destination, Phnom Penh, Cambodia.
Phnom Penh, Cambodia
Teams traveled to the airport to book tickets to Phnom Penh. On the taxi ride to the airport, teams attempted to master the correct way to say "Phnom Penh". Zev finally gave up, calling their destination "Sean Penn, Cambodia".
Only one airline flew from Vietnam to Cambodia. Seven teams were able to secure tickets on the earliest flight at 12:25pm. By the time Lance and Keri, and Justin and Zev got to the ticket counter, the flight was full and they had to purchase tickets for the later flight at 2:15pm. Realizing the situation they would be in if they were on the later flight, both teams requested to be on stand-by for the earlier flight. As the other teams boarded the bus to head to the plane, Lance and Keri, and Zev and Justin waited, hoping to secure seats on the flight. At the last minute, the two teams received tickets and were able to take the first flight.
Foreign Correspondents' Club
When the teams arrived in Cambodia, they had to go to the Foreign Correspondents' Club and find an assignment editor who would give them their next assignment. Most teams found the assignment editor and asked for their assignment, which was handed to them concealed in a newspaper. Canaan, however, kept asking for his next task, and the assignment editor refused to give him his clue. Once Canaan asked for his next assignment, he received his newspaper.
Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis and Hotel Le Royal
Hidden inside the newspaper was a picture and next instructions. The teams were to identify the woman in the picture and find the same picture hanging in a hotel that featured a suite named after this person. Teams showed the picture to locals on the street, who told them to go the the Hotel Le Royal. Most teams did not realize the woman in the picture was Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis on her visit to Cambodia in 1967. She was correctly identified early by Zev and Gary, but other teams thought she was either the Queen of England or Cambodian.
Cover or Wrap Detour
Once the teams found the picture at the hotel and received their next clue, they discovered a Detour, Cover or Wrap. In Cover, teams had to sell 4 motorcycle helmets to a family of four, two adults and two children, for 10 dollars. In Wrap, teams traveled to the Russian Market and found a stall where they were given a scarf. They then had to search to market for a woman wearing an identical scarf and return her to the stall to receive their next clue. All teams chose Wrap except for Lance and Keri, who chose Cover.
Roadblock at Wat Tuol Tom Pong
As teams completed the Detour, their next clue sent them to Wat Tuol Tom Pong and a Roadblock. In this Roadblock, one team member had to dress in a monkey mask and tail and complete three monkey maneuvers. Zev finished the first two tasks but had trouble with the third task, allowing brothers Sam and Dan to move ahead of them. Dan finished the Roadblock first, and received the clue directing them to the Pit Stop at Wat Phnom, a Buddist temple.
Wat Phnom Pit Stop and the Lost Passport
Although Dan and Sam left the Roadblock in first place, Zev and Justin reached the Pit Stop ahead of them. After checking in, Zev and Justin realized they were missing Zev's passport. After searching through their luggage, host Phil Keoghan told them that they had to find the document before the last team arrived or they would be eliminated.
Zev and Justin called their taxi and retraced their steps, searching for the passport. While they were searching and trying to figure out what might have happened, the remaining teams were arriving at Wat Phnom. Maria and Tiffany were the last team to arrive at the Pit Stop, but they were spared from elimination since Zev and Justin had not returned. Zev and Justin returned to the Pit Stop, unable to find the missing passport, and were eliminated from The Amazing Race.
