Teams Head to Vietnam; Garrett and Jessica Eliminated

Poker players Tiffany and Maria were spared elimination from The Amazing Race in Tokyo, but faced a two-hour delay in departure, in addition to a Speed Bump.
Goodbye Tokyo
Teams departed the Pit Stop in Tokyo after their mandatory rest period. Having arrived first, Meghan and Cheyne were the first team to receive their next clue. This clue sent teams to Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam. Most of the teams went to an internet cafe at a nearby hotel to book their flights, while a few teams took a risk and went straight to the airport without reservations. The seven teams who had gone to the internet cafe were all booked on the same flight. The other four teams, Gary and Matt, Tiffany and Maria, Meghan and Cheyne, and Brian and Ericka, arrived at the airport and were told that the flight was sold out. After waiting and begging, the four teams were able to get seats on the same flight as the other teams.
Hello Vietnam
Teams arrived in a flooded Ho Chi Minh City, where they were instructed to travel to the Xe Mien Tay bus station and purchase tickets to the town of Cai Be. The five teams of Maria and Tiffany, Dan and Sam, Flight Time and Big Easy, Marcy and Ron, and Mika and Canaan all purchased tickets on a bus leaving at 3:30pm. The remaining teams were on a bus leaving at 4:45pm. Seeing the first bus with the other five teams leave, Matt realized that they were on the second bus. The other teams, upset at being over an hour behind the first teams, pooled their money together and convinced the bus driver to depart earlier than scheduled.
Ben Tau Du Lich boat docks, Mekong Delta and mud pits
As the buses arrived in Cai Be, the teams ran to their next destination, the Ben Tau Du Lich boat docks, and discovered that the docks were closed until the next morning. The eleven teams were forced to spend the night on the docks. The next morning, the teams raced across the docks for their next clue. This clue instructed the teams to take sampans across the Mekong Delta and find nearby mud pits. Once they found the mud pits, the teams had to fill pots with mud, and take the mud to a nearby orchard, where they had to fertilize a fruit tree. Once the root system of the tree was covered with mud, teams would receive their next clue.
Speed Bump for Tiffany and Maria
Before they could complete the task at the mud pits, Tiffany and Maria received the Speed Bump they incurred in the first leg. The poker players had to find a soup stand, order the ingredients for a soup called pho, return to the dock and prepare the soup for the dock master. If they prepared the soup to his liking, he would give them the clue sending them to the mud pits. Tiffany and Maria obtained the ingredients and prepared the soup successfully, and were allowed to continue on the task to the mud pits.
Mud Pits and Fruit Trees
The teams quickly discovered that fertilizing the fruit trees would not be an easy task. Soon, all team members were covered in mud as they filled the pots and covered the tree roots. Meghan and Cheyne finished first, and received the next clue, instructing teams to take the sampans back to the dock and travel on foot to Cai Be Field. The other teams soon followed, leaving Tiffany and Maria as the last team at the mud pits. Zev and Justin lost their clue and had to return to the mud pits to retrieve it, putting them tied with Maria and Tiffany as the last teams to get back to the dock.
Herding Ducks at Cai Be Field
As teams arrived at Cai Be Field, they retrieved the next clue, finding a Roadblock. One member of each team had to herd a group of 150 ducks from their pen, across a bridge, and then back again, returning them to the pen, within 10 minutes. Once all the ducks were back in their pen, the teams would receive their next clue. Team members were equipped with two flags which they were to use to control the ducks. Meghan, Ericka and Jessica attempted first, and failed to herd their ducks in ten minutes. Matt, Sam and Flight Time were next, and all were successful, with Sam leading the pack. The other teams soon enjoyed success on first or second attempts, leaving Jessica and Ericka remaining in the duck pens.
Pit Stop on Bassac II Riverboat
The final clue for this leg of the race sent the teams from Cai Be Field into Cho Cai Be Market, where they had to find the Bassac II riverboat docked along the Mekong River. The riverboat was the Pit Stop for this leg. Although Sam and Dan arrived at the market in first place, they could not decide which way to go, giving father and son Gary and Matt the advantage. Gary and Matt arrived at the mat in first place, followed closely by Sam and Dan. Tiffany and Maria overcame their last place finish in the first leg, finishing the second leg in seventh place. Garrett and Jessica and Brian and Ericka were the last teams to leave Cai Be Field. Racing through the Cho Cai Be Market to the Pit Stop, Brian and Ericka had a slight lead over Garrett and Jessica, and arrived at the mat in tenth place. Garrett and Jessica arrived last, and were eliminated from The Amazing Race.
