Full Episode Summary of Amazing Race 14 in Bangkok, Thailand

In the previous episode of the Amazing Race, Mark & Michael came in first, but received a time penalty for tampering with race equipment dropping them to third while Tammy & Victor check in first. Mike & Mel, after receiving misguided directions from their taxi driver, are unable to make up lost time and are eliminated from the race. Five teams remain in the race around the world.
Teams Travel from Phuket to Bangkok, Thailand
Departing Phuket, teams fly over 400 miles to Bangkok, Thailand. Tammy & Victor, in first place departing at 9:27pm call Thai Airlines to make a reservation for the first flight only to be told they must wait until the reservations desk opens at 6am. Kisha & Jen, departing in last place at 1:05am, catch up with the rest of the racers at the airport. All five teams depart on a 7:25am flight to Bangkok.
Racers Navigate Long-Tailed Boats Through the Bangkok Canals During Roadblock
From the airport, teams travel by taxi to a designated boatyard, where one team member will attach a propeller to a long-tailed boat before navigating through the Bangkok canals to Peninsula Pier. Margie & Luke follow Kisha & Jen's taxi, but when the sisters' driver consults their driver for directions, he points them they wrong way. The mother/son team overhear men shouting directions at the cab drivers and receive directions from them, leading them to the boatyard first. The redheads arrive in second, followed by Tammy & Victor and the stuntmen. Kisha & Jen arrive last.
Leaving the roadblock in second place, redheads Cara & Jaime decide to have their boat-driver turn around and allow them to return to grab their bags before continuing on. Both Mark & Michael and Kisha & Jen, finishing in third and fourth place respectively, leave their bags behind. En route, Jen realizes that they have not only left their bags in the taxi, they also left their pack with their passports and money on the dock. After struggling with the propeller assembly, Victor finally gets their boat in working condition. Leaving in last place, the brother and sister team make sure to grab their bags before departing.
Completing the roadblock is Margie, Jaime, Victor, Mark and Kisha.
Amazing Race Teams Sing Karaoke in Party Taxis and Fit Dentures During Detour
After riding their propeller boats through the waterways of Bangkok and arriving at the marked dock, teams encounter a detour - "Broken Teeth" or "Broken Record." In "Broken Teeth" teams make their way to the "street of happy smiles" and search through 50 sets of dentures until they successfully find fits for five people. In "Broken Record" teams travel to Chinatown and take a party taxi five miles while singing along to a popular Thai pop video.
Margie & Luke opt to fit the dentures, hoping to "spare the people of Bangkok their bad singing." While Luke struggles with the task, Margie successfully fits all five people and the team receives their next clue directing them to the pit-stop. Cara & Jaime's taxi driver looses time driving them through the water filled streets en route to the Chinatown parking lot, and the redheads arrive slightly behind Kisha & Jen, who also choose the karaoke task and were able to find a taxi driver who would take them to the start location for free. Tammy & Victor are the third team to arrive at party taxi parking lot.
Brothers Mark & Michael, having left their bags at the boatyard, argue whether to return to collect their bags or complete the tasks. Michael, claiming to have brought items of sentimental value he cannot lose, eventually convinces his brother to take a taxi back to the boatyard where they retrieve their possessions. On the way to the detour, they run out of money to pay their cab driver and barter with flashlights and other items. The stuntmen are last to sing karaoke in Bangkok, Thailand.
Eighth Pitstop in Phya Thai Palace in Bangkok, Thailand
After finishing the detour, teams are directed to pitstop located at the Phya Thai Palace. Margie & Luke finish ahead of the others and arrive in first place. Cara & Jaime, Tammy & Victor and Kisha & Jen finish the detour within minutes of each other, but while Tammy & Victor's taxi stops to ask for directions, the redheads' driver indicates he knows the destination and pulls them ahead for a second place finish.
Kisha & Jen arrive at the pitstop in third place, seconds ahead of Tammy & Victor. However, since the sisters have left their travel documents in the pack back at the boat dock, Phil indicates that he is unable to check the in, so Tammy & Victor check in third.
As Kisha & Jen find a ride back to the boatyard to retrieve their passports and baggage, Mark & Michael are finishing their detour and making their way to the pitstop. Once at Phya Thai Palace, the stuntmen once again find they do not have enough money to pay their tab, and again trade items. Arriving in fourth place, Phil informs them that they have broken a race rule. For using their personal belongings to settle a bill, they are penalized two hours. Since they broke the rule twice, they must wait for hours before checking in.
As Mark & Michael wait out their penalty outside Phya Thai Palace, sisters Kisha & Jen arrive at the pit-stop with bags and passports in hand. They are the fourth team to check in. With three hours left of their penalty, Phil informs the stuntmen they are now in last place. However, this is a non-elimination leg and they are still in the race. During the next leg, the brothers must wait out the remainder of their time penalty and will encounter a speedbump that only they must complete.
All five teams continue racing next week in the Amazing Race 14 Episode 9. Luke and Jen battle each other at the clue boxes and some harsh words are exchanged.
