In the Show's Season Finale, Bret Michaels Picks Taya Over Mindy

In the previous episode of VH1's reality series Rock of Love Bus with Bret Michaels, just three Rock of Love cast members remain: Taya, Mindy and Jamie.
Episode eleven brought tensions between the three remaining Rock of Love cast members. Mindy attacks Taya for her seeming "perfection" and lack of flaws, which Mindy believes is a facade; Jamie has similar feelings toward Taya.
The fracture in Mindy's and Taya's friendship spurs Jamie's decision to pal up with Mindy in an apparent attempt to keep her rivals close at hand; this new bond between Jamie and Mindy leaves Taya feeling attacked and excluded.
At the elimination ceremony for the eleventh episode of this popular VH1 reality show series, Bret gives Mindy the first pass, despite her perpetual unwillingness to leave her comfort zone — an issue that was brought to light in this episode.
Ultimately, Bret gives Taya the pass and Jamie is sent home because of her remarks on her date with Bret when she said she wasn't interested in immediately pursuing a serious longterm relationship.
An Episode Summary of the Rock of Love Bus Season Finale
Just two ladies remain going into the last episode of Rock of Love Bus: Mindy and Taya, who join Bret on a private jet that flies them to the Dominican Republic.
Mindy is the first to have her final one-on-one date with Bret.
The Poison frontman spends some "alone time" with Mindy and oddly, Mindy is suddenly mute, unable to communicate her feelings for Bret. Oddly, Mindy says that she simply couldn't find a way to say the things she wanted to say to Bret, despite the fact that he repeatedly asked Mindy to share her thoughts. The evening ends with Bret and Mindy retiring to the bedroom together.
Taya's date with Bret comes next. Bret brings Taya for a ride on a zipline through the Dominican Republic jungle.
During their date, Bret brings up the topic of self-promotion with Taya and her reasons for appearing on the show. Self-promotion has been a topic that's arisen time and time again with Taya, as some of the Rock of Love cast members felt that her primary reason for appearing on the show was to promote Penthouse (Taya models for the magazine) and to advance her career as a model.
Again, Taya assures Bret that her intentions are genuine and that she's sincerely interested in pursuing a relationship. It seems that Bret believes Taya, but he tells her that he's 99% ready to start a relationship with Taya. But Bret continues on to say that there's 1% of him that's hesitant to connect with Taya due to the fact that she's a dancer/model, and this conjures up unpleasant memories for Bret who says his heart was broken by a girl who happened to be a dancer.
The Final Elimination - Who Wins Rock of Love Bus?
Shortly prior to the final Rock of Love Bus elimination, Taya and Mindy each had the opportunity to pick out an engagement ring.
After a brief speech, Bret calls Mindy forward. And it's with a heavy heart that Bret tells Mindy that the ring he holds is not for her. After a brief "goodbye," Mindy is sent home, the final girl to be eliminated from the Rock of Love Bus cast.
With that, the Rock of Love season three winner Taya is called forward to claim her prize - an opportunity to give love a chance in a relationship with Bret MIchaels.
New Reality TV Shows on VH1
VH1 has announced that a former Rock of Love cast member from the second season — Daisy De La Hoya — will be trying her hand at love yet again, this time with her own reality show, Daisy of Love.
