This week on Survivor the Exile Island alliance gained two new members. On Hell's Kitchen Andrea and J barely dodged Ramsay's wrath and being sent home. Also, the housewives saw a new side of LuAnn on Real Housewives of New York City.Tocantins, "The Strongest Man Alive"Timbira decides they need a leader, and while they choose Brendan to lead, Coach feels he should be the leader. Taj tells Steve about the secret alliance, and he agrees to join. The reward challenge had chosen members from each tribe seeing how much weight they could hold for the longest time. Taj won, and her tribe was given the chance to steal two items from the other tribe. They chose a water canister and a bag of beans.
Survivor:
Taj chooses Sierra to go to Exile Island, and Sierra chooses to bring Taj. Taj gets the clue but clues Sierra in to the alliance. The immunity challenge is about collecting puzzle pieces to reveal a phrase. Timbira wins immunity and Jalapao leaves to discuss who should go home. It comes down to Sydney and Sandy, but Sandy is voted out with four votes.
Hell’s Kitchen, "HK5: Day 5"The week’s challenge was to create an Asian fusion poultry, fish and meat dish. The teams were given $100 and 25 minutes to shop, and when they went back to the kitchen they had an hour to prepare their dishes. Tanya Steel, editor of Epicurious.com, joined Ramsay during judging, and the red team won two to one. Lacey had a hard time adjusting to her new team at first, but they bonded during their punishment.
At dinner service things started out great, but it all went down hill quickly. Andrea hid burnt food, J couldn’t cook his food and Robert nearly lost his cool. Later, he and Ramsay talked out their differences, and Ramsay apologized for pinching the wrong nerve with him. Dinner service was cut early, and LA and Giovanni were forced to choose two people. They chose Andrea and J for elimination, but ultimately Ramsay overruled them and sent Colleen home because he didn’t think she could survive.
Real Housewives of New York City, "On their High Horses"Ramona, LuAnn and Jill meet for lunch, where they discuss Jill’s upcoming fundraiser. Ramona tells Jill that she will not help if Simon and Alex help because they are creepy. Simon and Alex enjoy in-house spa treatments and tarot readings courtesy of the home’s owner, and Alex learns she will soon acquire property. Kelly rides in the Hampton’s Classic and invites Ramona to watch.
After falling during her first ride, Kelly is stressed out and barely speaks to Ramona, which annoys Ramona. Victoria, LuAnn’s daughter, also rides in the Classic, so to celebrate LuAnn throws her and her friends a sit-down lunch complete with an etiquette lesson. LuAnn gets very upset when her husband does not show up in time to see Victoria’s ride. Later everyone attends the Art for Life party. While there Ramona and Mario challenge Jill to another tennis match, but Ramona takes offensive when Jill wants to choose her own player.
