Survivor Season 19 Episode 7 Revealed Next Chapter of the Tribes

After Russell was taken out of the game in the prior episode of Survivor Samoa, Galu was reeling and Foa Foa was feeling that they could take on anyone now.

After a really rough week for everyone from both tribes, Survivor Samoa episode seven began by exploring what each tribe had thought about the prior day’s events. What had happened was that Russell had a medical emergency and had to be taken out of the game, leaving his tribe an extra man down at the end of the night. With a man gone, several of the guys on the Galu tribe got worried that it meant that there were four guys and four girls, and the four guys went to Shambo to get her involved in their alliance.

With Russell being sent home, it meant that the Galu tribe had to elect a new leader from their tribe. The guys had talked amongst themselves and decided that they would vote for Shambo, and when the girls brought up that they should vote, Shambo won the vote and became the new leader of the Galu tribe.

It was a game of matching, with baskets on tables spread across a field. The object of this Survivor Samoa challenge was to be able to match up items by lifting one basket and then a second basket, must like the game of Memory. If there was no match, then the players had to cover the tools under the basket back up, and the other team got a chance to guess. The winning team, that was able to get the most matches, would enjoy an afternoon out on a sailboat with some nice food to be had for lunch.

Galu got the first match right, but the trick was that the tribe could choose to keep the matching items and sacrifice the point. Galu chose to keep the match of a fire starting kit, making the score zero to zero once again. Foa Foa was having trouble, and Galu matched up two straight before Foa Foa got one right. Galu went up six to three, with only three matches left, and it seemed like it would be a tough task for Foa Foa to come back. Foa Foa got the first one, but Galu finished them off, and were rewarded with the sailboat trip and lunch.

Galu really enjoyed their time during the reward, and even got the chance to sail the large boat before they had a very filling lunch.

The Survivor Samoa episode seven immunity challenge involved having the tribes paddle out to retrieve puzzle pieces from the water and returning them to the beach to be assembled. In principle the challenge was easy enough, but it was a different lion all together when they started out.

Foa Foa got out to a big lead with some smart strategy, and Galu was playing catch up almost from the word “go”. Foa Foa was able to get all of their puzzle pieces first, and Galu got all their puzzle pieces not too much later. Galu caught them at the beach though on the return trip, and that meant that the first team to complete their puzzle would win the immunity challenge.

Galu quickly figured out what they were doing with the puzzle, and once again won the immunity challenge. That meant that Foa Foa would have to vote out one of their five remaining members at the night’s tribal council.

It really seemed like the Foa Foa tribe was defeated when they showed up to tribal council, and it seemed like several members could have possibly been voted out of the tribe based on recent performances. When the vote was finally taken, the sixth person voted out of Survivor Samoa was Liz.
