Survivor Season 19 Episode 5 Sent Home Another Foa Foa Member
In the last episode of Survivor Samoa, Galu saw their winning streak come to an end as the finally lost an immunity challenge. Foa Foa has seemed like they were destined to keep losing, but maybe they have just weeded out some of the weaker competitors from their team now. Things got tense when Galu lost, and it seemed like three different people could possibly go home as they went to a vote at tribal council. Russell wanted Monica gone, but in the end Yasmin was sent home, and it was evident the tribe had been split, with Shambo left alone on one side. 15 are left, who will go home next?
Survivor Samoa Episode Five
The fall out of Shambo voting against Monica in the last episode translated right away to Monica wanting to target her in the new episode. That didn’t come as much of a surprise, but it looked like viewers might actually get to see more of tribe Galu than in past weeks. Day 12 of Survivor Samoa started out a little funny as Erik tried to get his hair wet, and had a wave come completely over him, making him very mad to start the morning. Foa Foa received some tree mail about an upcoming challenge involving food, and then the Foa Foa women began discussing whether they could do it or not.
Survivor Samoa Week 5: The Samoa Smoothie
The newest Survivor food challenge involved having to drink a smoothie from a mixture of ingredients from the sea, with each competitor simply trying to finish the smoothie in order to win some real food. The prizes were the makings a great BBQ with lots of great looking meat. Each turn a tribe member from each team had to roll a ball on a spinner until it came to two ingredients which were mixed together to make a smoothie that they then had to finish.
The first two ingredients were a giant clam, and the second ingredient was Jeff’s choice, which he used to mix in snails, octopus, an odd looking juice and seaweed to the concoction. Shambo was able to finish hers easily for team Galu, and Jaison finished the other one. The second one was between the two Russell’s, with the ingredients being jellyfish and milk. Both of them were able to finish it, but the Russell from Galu was much more impressive in downing his. The challenge progressed with foods like sea cucumbers, sea urchins, sea slug guts and clams, with the end result being that Galu won on the very last glass, making the Foa Foa tribe quite upset with Ashley.
Shambo Lives with Foa Foa Tribe Again
As a result of winning the challenge, the Galu tribe had to send someone to spend time in the other tribe, and Russell chose Shambo to go over again. When she got there is was clear she really liked this tribe, and shared with them all the hidden immunity clues that she knew about. The trouble was that the Russell in this tribe has already found the immunity idol and everyone is wasting their time looking for it.
Survivor Samoa Week 5 Immunity Challenge
In a familiar challenge on Survivor, the object was for one man and one woman from each tribe to hold a rope connected to a net that the opposite tribe would be trying to shoot coconuts into. The object was simply to be the last one holding their net above the ground, and that would be the team winning immunity. The people chosen to compete were Liz and Russell for Foa Foa and Russell and Laura for Galu. The challenge only seemed tough for the people holding the ropes, but the rain really started coming down and making the whole thing really miserable. Russell from Foa Foa was taken out first, and then Liz was taken out before Galu lost any members. That gave the Galu tribe a win in the latest Survivor immunity challenge.
Survivor Samoa Week 5 Tribal Council
It seemed like the Foa Foa tribe was just happy to be in front of a nice warm fire after dealing with around 48 straight hours of rain. When the votes started being read that changed a little bit, but to nobody’s surprise it ended up being Ashley that was voted out of the game.
Survivor season 19 episode 5 revealed more drama.
