Taj and Spencer watch their backs on Survivor. The Harlem Globetrotters make a surprise appearance on Hell's Kitchen.

This week on Survivor the Exile Island alliance was almost destroyed, and the Hell's Kitchen chefs try their hands at a Jewish tradition.

Survivor, "You're Going to Want that Tooth"

Steve and Taj found Jalapao’s immunity idol. For now, Steve will hold it.

Brendan and Sierra finally discussed their alliance, and Brendan told her he has their idol.

For the reward challenge four members from each team had to sit on a sitting platform, then cross a balance beam. Jalapao won, and there reward was an afternoon of coffee, pastries and modern amenities. Timbira decided to send Brendan to Exile Island, and Steve was picked to go with him. At their reward Jalapao received letters from home.

Timbira realized that Brendan may be making allies on Jalapao, so he must go next. They knew Sydney would not agree, so they did not tell her.

Steve and Brendan were able to plan while at Exile. Steve isn’t ready to trust Brendan completely though.

For the immunity challenge two members from each team had to launch balls across a sand pit so that remaining team members could catch or block. J.T. caught four balls, Brendan caught two balls and Tyson caught three balls, including the winning one.

J.T. said Spencer should go home because he didn’t give 100 percent. Taj is worried the tribe won’t keep her and believes Spencer should go. Joe wanted to send Taj home, and Steve half agreed. He knew that she was his only tie to the alliance, but he had the idol in hand.

At tribal council Taj and Spencer talked about the possibility of going home. They both said they felt paranoid after the challenge. Taj told the group she doesn’t have the idol. After the vote, Jeff announced Spencer would be going home.

Hell’s Kitchen, "HK5: Day 6"

The night’s dinner service was a Bar Mitzvah. Coi felt confident because she has done Bar Mitzvah’s before, and Ben felt confident because he is Jewish.

Before dinner service the teams held a taste test for Max, the guest of honor, his mother and grandmother. The team’s prepared special versions of Max’s favorite dishes – chicken soup, brisket and hamburgers – and his choices were put on the menu.

Carol wanted to stuff the burgers with blue cheese and cook them medium rare, but the rest of the group thought it was a bad idea. She did it anyway.

Max chose the red team’s brisket and the blue team’s soup and hamburger, so the blue team won a spa day. Ramsay said the blue cheese was a horrible idea. The red team had to decorate for the party, and Andrea and Carol fought the entire time.

The dinner service was successful, but there were several issues. In the blue kitchen J messed up salads, Danny almost sent out plates with dirty bottoms and Lacey almost sent out cold brisket. In the red kitchen Coi forgot to start the burgers, messed up the temperature of the burgers and messed up some of the brisket dishes. Things were also made tense by Andrea and Carol’s constant arguing.

The Harlem Globetrotters made an appearance at the party.

The blue team was named winner because they had more determination. Andrea was put in charge of nominating for being the best of the worst, which no one agreed with.

At the elimination ceremony Andrea first told Ramsay she did not have any nominees. After some pushing she chose Coi and LA. Coi told Ramsay she is a wonderful team player, and LA told Ramsay he hasn’t seen the best of her yet. Coi then spoke up that Andrea was the worst, and LA and Carol agreed. In the end Ramsay sent Coi home because “she couldn’t even cook a bloody burger.”
