Heidi and Spencer return with a huge change in attitude; Frances decides she can't do it alone; Janice breaks down

On the first hour of the June 8, 2009 episode of I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here!, Episode 5 (Season 2), Speidi returned… again!

Speidi in the Lost Chamber

Heidi and Spencer were allowed back on the show if they stayed in the Lost Chamber for the night. The chamber was pitch black and full of gigantic bugs.

“I guess this is what we get for being little cry babies,” Spencer said.

The group wasn’t sure what to think about Speidi’s return, but they did vote for them to return. Some people said that their feelings depended on if Spencer’s behavior had changed.

Speidi Returns

Speidi was thrilled to be back at camp. Everyone seemed OK to see them, but Jillian was thrilled. Spencer told the group the day before he was given the sign to return – profuse sweating and violet vomiting while Heidi read from the Bible.

“The devil fooled us,” he said. Stephen and Lou believed the couple had changed and was ready, but Daniel thought their religious believes were just convenience.

Sanjaya asked Heidi to sing her song. No one was impressed, and Janice told her she sounded like a drowning cat. The group found Janice’s comments mean, but she thought it was constructive. The group was impressed with Spencer’s calm defense, and Janice apologized.

Frances Wants Out

Frances is having a hard time without Angela. The group is very split about whether the separating is positive or negative for Frances.

Frances decided she wanted to leave, and Sanjaya was surprised to hear the news. They were sad to see her go, but everyone understood.

Heidi’s Dream

That night Heidi got very sick. She looked extremely weak and pale, and she said she felt demons inside of her.

The next morning Heidi told Spencer she had a dream that Jesus was all over her. The pair told Stephen, and he said it was a huge deal. He told the couple about his own Jesus dream. The group was very over the religious talk, especially Janice and John.

Stephen wasn’t surprised when Spencer was out of control with his love for God. He was screaming to God and confusing everyone. Stephen called Spencer’s act a “spiritual hemorage.” Daniel, along with some others, is offended by Spencer’s antics, and he doesn’t believe Spencer has changed.

Patti’s Release

Spencer and Lou told Patti they think she would win if she talked more. Spencer could see Patti holds back, but she told him she just wasn’t ready to talk about things.

She did eventually open up to Daniel. She said being in the jungle is easy compared to trying to keep her family in tact. She said she worries about being able to support her kids and keep them in their current school.

Janice vs. Sanjaya

America voted for Janice and Sanjaya to compete in the food challenge for lobsters.

The celebrities were put in a clear tank full of water, frogs, snakes and crocodiles. The celebrity was chained and given a bunch of keys. The object was to unlock his or her self the quickest.

Sanjaya did really well in the beginning, but he moved a little slower as the water began to rise. The container was almost completely filled with water when he had one lock left. His time was 3:12.

Janice was feeling excited and empowered before getting in the tank. She freaked out a little bit when the crocodiles entered, and eventually had a near panic attack, begging to be let out.

Back at camp Janice broke down in tears to Sanjaya.
