The SYTYCD season 2 Top 20 results show kicked off with a Michael Jackson tribute followed by the voting results. Who was kicked off? Who was eliminated?

With 20 potential dancers to vote for this week, who did the public decide to support? Based on audience response, it appeared that Cody and Austin were popular male dancers while Melanie M. and Kim. Jean Marc found something to rave about everyone and didn't really assist the competition by offering serious critiques, while Tre offered more thoughtful reviews, Blake and Luther offered the most honest critiques.

Contestants received 1 million votes in the first vote of season 2. The top 20 contestants opened the results show with a Michael Jackson tribute dance, with dancers dressed in a variety of well-known Michael Jackson outfits from throughout his career.

From the first five couples brought on stage Danny & Natalie, Anthony & Corynne, Daniel & Jayme Rae, Everett & Tara-Jean were safe while Taylor & Melanie B. were in the bottom three couples. From the second five couples Cody & Melanie M., Nicholas & Jenna Lynn, Emanuel & Kim were safe while Vincent & Amy and Austin & Tatiana ended up in the bottom three couples.

SYTYCD Top 20 Show Results - SYTYCD Top 10 Women

The CTV Community discussion board didn't have alot to say about this week's female performances but a few people thought Tara-Jean, Amy or Tatiana might go home this week. In reality, Canada voted as follows:

Bottom Three Women:

Melanie B.
Amy
Tatiana

The three females then danced for their life in the hopes that the judges would save them from elimination. Melanie B. was firs to offer up a leg kicking number, nothing overly exciting. Amy stepped onto the stage with an emotional contemporary number but was a little shaky on one turn, maybe a flashback to her missed lift from last night. Tatiana brought a hip-hop routine that engaged the audience who seemed to like her best.

The judges felt that the dancers were amazing and they were not in agreement in their decision. In a no-nonsense fashion, Jean Marc announced who was leaving ...

Eliminated:

Tatiana

Oddly, the judges had not parting words for Tatiana and everyone seemed highly emotional with her departure.

SYTYCD Top 20 Show Results - SYTYCD Top 10 Men

According to the CTV Community discussion board, Nicholas and Emanuel were thought to be the worst male dancers this week. In reality, Canada voted as follows:

Bottom Three Men:

Austin
Taylor
Vincent

The three men then danced for their life in the hopes that the judges would save them from elimination. First up was Taylor with a contemporary number that felt less emotional and more desperate. Vincent brought a slightly comedic ballroom number that didn't seem to have much dancing, but instead plenty of theatrics. Austin focused on big spins and flips which showcased his gymnastic abilities, but where was the dance?

Tre spoke for the judges and quickly announced who was leaving ...

Taylor

As with Tatiana, there were no parting words from the judges.
