The SYTYCD season 2 Top 18 results show kicked off with a Bollywood routine followed by the voting results. Who was kicked off? Who was eliminated?

With 18 SYTYCD dancers this week, who did the public decide to support? Based on audience response last night, it appeared Daniel and Jayme Rae were a popular couple this week while Anthony and Corynne offered up a lackluster dance in which they both fell on the stage. Disappointing couples from last week rebounded last night while popular Melanie M. and Cody were strong, but not invinceable.

Contestants received over 1 million votes in the second vote of Season 2. The top 18 contestants opened the results show with a Bollywood dance choreographed by Longinus Fernandes. Longinus is best known for choreographing the popular movie Slumdog Millionaire. A colorful and energetic performance, the women looked crisp and powerful while the men appeared slower in their movements.

From the first four couples brought on stage, Danny & Natalie, Melanie M. & Cody, Vincent & Amy were safe while Anthony & Corynne were in the bottom three couples.

From the remaining five couples brought on stage, Everett & Tara-Jean, Emanuel & Kim, Daniel & Jayme Rae were safe while Nicholas & Jenna Lynn and Austin & Melanie B. ended up in the bottom three couples. This is the second week that Austin and Melanie B. find themselves fighting for their lives.

From this week's votes, Canada chose to place the following three women up for possible elimination.

Bottom Three Women:

Melanie B.
Corynne
Jenna Lynn

The three females then danced for their life in the hopes that the judges would save them from elimination. First up was Corynne who danced a shaky mix of ballet and contemporary. Jenna Lynn came next with a powerful routine while Melanie B. debuted a sexy Latin dance.

Jean Marc noted Corynne's stumble from the night prior but ruled her safe. He thought Jenna Lynn connected well with her partner. Ultimately, Melanie B. was eliminated. She was not happy and told the judges that she thought it was wrong for her to go home.

Eliminated: Melanie B.

SYTYCD Top 18 Show Results - SYTYCD Top 9 Men

From this week's votes, Canada chose to place the following three men up for possible elimination.

Bottom Three Men:

Austin
Nicholas
Anthony

The three men then danced for their life in the hopes that the judges would save them from elimination. First up was Anthony with ballroom hip shaking, not too exciting and a little sloppy. Nicholas performed a wild b-boy routine that woke up the audience while Austin jumped and spun, offering power over substance.

Tre thought all of the guy's did the strongest dance for their lives she had seen so far, then informed Anthony he would be going home. Anthony took the news well, although emotionally upset.

Eliminated: Anthony
