This week on The Bachelorette the men found out they were living together in a bunkhouse while Jillian had the mansion to herself. During the week, the men that got roses moved into the mansion with Jillian. Some of the bachelors didn’t get a chance to go on a date.
First Group Date
The men that went on the first group date were Michael, Brian, Brad, Sasha, Tanner P., Wes, Ed, and Mathue. When the guys arrived at the mansion, Jillian was laying out by the pool in her bikini. Jillian and Michael had the first one-on-one time during this group date. In the middle of their conversation Jillian excused herself to go downstairs to grab the rose. Michael celebrated and thought that he would be the recipient. However, Jillian had other plans. She took the rose and left, leaving the guys directions for a scavenger hunt to find her.
The guys were paired up for the scavenger hunt. Jillian picked one man from the first pair to find her to have dinner with that night. The first team to arrive was Wes and Brad who bickered during the entire challenge. Brad was confident that Jillian would pick him for dinner, but she surprised him by choosing Wes, the country singer. During the dinner, Jillian gave Wes the rose which meant he moved into the mansion that night.
Individual Date
Jake was picked for the coveted individual date of the week. She was impressed by his spontaneity when she took him to a cowboy store and dressed him in western gear. Jillian laughed as Jake tried on multiple outfits and strutted around the store.
They ate dinner at the Sunset Strip House of Blues which was reserved for the two of them. After dinner, Jillian surprised Jake when Martina McBride performed as they danced, and she offered him the rose. They kissed and Jillian seemed extremely happy with the date.
Second Group Date
The men invited on the second group date were Jesse, Mark, David, Mike, Simon, Kiptyn and Juan. Jillian took the guys to a basketball court to play some ball and requested that they take off their shirts. After playing around with the guys, Jillian told the men that she was going to get some of her friends to play against them and sauntered over with players from the Harlem Globetrotters. The competition heated up between David and Juan and the Harlem Globetrotters picked David as their choice for Jillian.
After the basketball game, they enjoyed cocktails at a hotel by the beach. Jillian spent one-on-one time with some of the guys to get to know them better. Jillian gave the rose to Mike for being the most spontaneous, because he stripped down to a speedo earlier in the day.
Cocktail Party and Rose Ceremony
Chris Harrison shook things up at the cocktail party by bringing in a box and telling the men that they would vote for the bachelor that they wanted to see gone. The most votes went to Juan and the second most votes went to David. Chris stated that Juan would leave unless Jillian wanted to save him and give him a rose which she did. She had twelve more roses to give out during the rose ceremony and she gave them to Jesse, David, Ed, Sasha, Mark, Michael, Tanner P., Kiptyn, Reid, Robby, Tanner F., and Brad.
