Which Rock of Love Cast Member is Sent Home by Bret Michaels?
In the previous episode of VH1's reality television show Rock of Love Bus, Kelsey found herself in the hot seat after a drunken breakdown shows Bret that Kelsey simply can't handle life on the road. As a result, Kelsey was eliminated and sent home, much to the relief of the other girls - especially Farrah and Ashley.
In the seventh episode, the cast of Rock of Love Bus lost a second cast member when Kami decided to leave the reality show. Kami's team won the "Truck Stop Games," leading to a date that ended at the back of Bret's tour bus; the date ends with a very upset Kami.
The following day, Kami approaches Bret for a private conversation; she explains that she's not able to accept the idea of Bret giving other girls -- including female fans -- attention. So Kami decides to leave the VH1 reality show, and she excuses herself from the Rock of Love Bus tour.
A Summary of the Eighth Episode of Rock of Love Bus
The eighth episode of Rock of Love Bus begins with the elimination of the blue bus; all of the cast members are told to move onto the pink bus, forcing the girls to travel together - a situation that's sure to spur fireworks and girl fights.
The next stop on the Rock of Love Bus tour is Panama City, Florida, where the girls have their next challenge: babysit a group of children for military families. The best "mommy," as voted by the children, wins a date with Poison front man Bret Michaels.
Taya and Ashley - both of whom are mothers - shine in this challenge, while Beverly comes off as boring and politician-like as she tries to talk the children into voting for her. Jamie and Brittanya (who, surprisingly, is also a mother, despite her clear discomfort around the children) fail to flourish in this challenge, as does Farrah who ends up getting a little girl to give her a pedicure.
In the end, the children vote for Taya and Ashley. Bret picks Ashley as the winner and she's treated to a date on a Florida beach, including an ATV ride to a private oceanside lunch.
On the date, Bret and Ashley clearly connect, though Ashley gets a bit moody when Bret suggests she separates herself from her friend Farrah.
The Elimination: Who Gets Sent Home on Rock of Love Bus Episode Eight?
Shortly before elimination, Beverly gets into trouble with Bret when she gets a bit "abrasive" and rude following a night of drinking. Likewise, Farrah is in a bit of trouble with Bret, as the Poison singer suggests that they've entered the "friend zone."
Taya is also concerned going into elimination, as she met to speak with Bret privately about how her fellow cast members are accusing her of joining the Rock of Love Bus cast to self promote and further her career as a nude model with a prominent men's magazine.
In the end, it comes down to Taya, Beverly and Farrah. Then Beverly is given a pass, despite her rudeness, leaving only Taya and Farrah. Ultimately, Bret eliminates Farrah, sending her home because she's more friend material than girlfriend material.
