In the previous episode of Rock of Love Bus, the cast takes part in the Rock of Love Mud Bowl.
Ultimately, Mindy is declared the Rock of Love Mud Bowl MVP and as a prize, she gets to go on a solo date with Bret.
Brittanya also gets an opportunity to spend a few minutes of one-on-one time with Bret, but again, Brittanya says very little, even as Bret is explaining that he's actively wondering whether they have a mental connection. This puts Brittanya on the chopping block come elimination.
In the end, it comes down to Kelsey, Brittanya and one of the three "new girls," Jennifer, who explains to Brett that her father died just a few days before arriving on the Rock of Love Bus cast. Ultimately, Kelsey gets a pass, as does Brittanya. Jennifer is sent home to her family, to begin coping with her father's death.
Episode Summary for the Rock of Love Bus, Episode 7
After a one week hiatus due to the 2009 Academy Awards ceremony, Rock of Love Bus returned to VH1 on Sunday, March 1, 2009.
The seventh episode of this VH1 reality show starts with a competition: "Truck Stop Games." The Rock of Love Bus cast is split up into three teams: Farrah, Kelsey and Taya on the Yellow Team; Beverly, Ashley and Kami on the Blue Team; and Brittanya, Mindy and Jamie on the Green Team.
The Rock of Love Truck Stop Games include a belly flop competition into a pool of "Bret's Brew" beer, a stripper pole competition and a hot dog relay. When all is said and done, the Green Team comes in last, while the Blue Team loses to the Yellow Team wins, but only due to Farrah's lack of a shirt during the scoring (performed by truck drivers, of course!)
Bret surprises the Blue Team -- Beverly, Ashley and Kami -- by inviting them to spend time on his bus, as he suggests they were the rightful winners of the day's challenge. The group date ends at the back of Bret's tour bus in the bedroom, and Kami emerges extremely upset.
The following day, Kami approaches Bret for a private conversation; she explains that she's not able to accept the idea of Bret giving other girls -- including female fans -- attention. So Kami decides to leave, and she excuses herself from the reality show that is the Rock of Love Bus tour.
The Rock of Love Bus Elimination: Who Gets Sent Home and Eliminated?
Shortly before the Rock of Love Bus elimination on the seventh episode, the Rock of Love Bus cast gets to attend one of Bret's performances, watching the show from a VIP area off to the side of the stage.
During the show, Farrah and Kelsey get a bit too out of control and Bret's bodyguard "Big John" is forced to pull Kelsey and Farrah out of the show, upset that they ignored his warnings to be good "representatives" for Bret Michaels.
A drunken and emotional Kelsey goes over the edge, and she ends up laying on a yellow speed bump, crying, until Big John comes along to give Kelsey a bit of a pep talk.
Later that night comes the seventh episode's Rock of Love Bus elimination. Farrah, Kelsey and Ashley struggle to make it up the stairs and onto the stage for the elimination, as the girls are extremely intoxicated.
A very serious and somber Bret begins the elimination ceremony by calling Kelsey forward. Bret gently explains that Kelsey's behavior that evening was a deal breaker, as it showed him that Kelsey simply can't handle life on the road. As a result, Kelsey was sent home and eliminated, much to the relief of the other girls - especially Farrah and Ashley.
