In the previous episode of Rock of Love Bus, Maria goes home after she falls ill, resulting in her hospitalization.
A drunken Beverly puts her relationship with Bret on the line when she kisses one of Bret's band mates.
The following day, Bret confronts Beverly during lunch on the group date. The only explanation Beverly can give is that she could not recall the night's event's due to excessive drinking.
Mindy is also in the bottom three during elimination due to her "downer" attitude during the concert.
But at the end of the fourth episode of Rock of Love Bus, it's Marcia who is sent home because Bret questions her intentions, and he ultimately assumes Marcia is on the show only to party and drink tequila.
An Episode Summary of Rock of Love Bus Episode Five
Episode five starts with a challenge: the Rock of Love Bus cast has to give makeovers to three girls. So the cast members get to work dolling up these girls and at the end, Bret announces that these girls - Jennifer, Jamie and Kami - are the three new Rock of Love Bus cast members.
At this announcement, most of the girls clap; a mistake that later haunts the girls because the rather egotistical Bret assumes that this is a sign that the girls' lack an emotional attachment to him.
The one girl who does speak out, expressing her displeasure at the arrival of the three new cast members, is Ashley, who is later called onto Bret's tour bus for some "alone time," much to the displeasure of the other cast members.
During her time with Bret, Ashley also takes the opportunity to bad-mouth Natasha. Ashley insists that Natasha is actually a man, pointing to her deep voice as evidence, along with her tutu-style skirts that Ashley claims are used to hide a "bulge."
One would assume that Bret would simply dismiss Ashley's trash-talking about Natasha, but Bret actually comes very close to confronting Natasha with Ashley's claim.
Brittanya is also in the spotlight during the fifth episode of Rock of Love Bus. Brittanya doesn't hesitate to express her displeasure with the three new cast members. She also approaches Bret for a one-on-one discussion while he's in the gym, but she suddenly clams up, leading Bret to wonder if there's any mental or emotional connection with Brittanya, or whether only physical chemistry exists.
The Elimination: Who Gets Sent Home on Rock of Love Bus?
On the fifth episode of Rock of Love Bus, Ashley manages to get the first pass for the second week in a row.
Bret also gives passes to the three new cast members: Jennifer, Kami and Jamie.
One by one, the girls get passes until it's just Natasha and Brittanya remaining. Ultimately, Bret decides to keep Brittanya and Natasha gets sent home. Bret claims that Ashley's suspicions that Natasha is really a man had nothing to do with his decision; instead saying that he decided to eliminate Natasha because they were stuck in the "friend zone."
The next episode of Rock of Love Bus will air on VH1 at 9:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 15, 2009.
