NeNe and Sheree follow Kim outside after the argument in the restaurant where it escalates. Sheree grabs Kim’s hair, and Kim pushes Sheree. Kim says it’s over between her, NeNe and Sheree.
NeNe Gossips and Kim Gets VelaShape
NeNe and Lisa go for a power walk. NeNe says she will stick with Kim a bit longer and see if they can mend their relationship. Lisa thinks that Kim is crazy, and that’s not going to change, even if NeNe and she patch things up.
NeNe calls Kim who invites her over for a glass of wine. Kim says that Sheree is crazy, that she is off the chain. NeNe reminds Kim that last year she and Sheree thought they were twins. Kim makes the comment to the audience that she isn’t sure if she can trust NeNe again.
Kim goes to the doctor for a heat treatment called VelaShape. The skin is heated to 107 degrees to even out the fatty tissues and to firm and tighten the skin on her thighs. Kim complains about how boring and long the treatment is. She calls Brielle and Ariana who, like their mother, complain about how their days are boring.
Dwight Throws a Huge 50th Birthday Party
Dwight hosts a party with animal decorations, models and dancers dressed as animals, dancers, and an overall animal theme. NeNe and Sheree go to Dwight’s party, mingling with some of the most elite people in Atlanta. Here Sheree meets Kandi for the first time. When Kandi meets Dwight, he inspects her face, toes, and feels her breasts. Kandi is a bit shocked, but plays along.
Lisa Works on Closet Freak
Lisa and Ed make a visit to Tracy Sipp, her stylist, and Evelyn Lambert, a designer, to consult about her clothing line, Closet Freak. She explains that she wants outfits that are less revealing, but still sexy.
Evelyn shows her sketches of a line that she designed for Lisa. Lisa wants to make them available for $300 or less. Lisa makes the comment that she doesn’t think Sheree is a designer, because she doesn’t do any of the work.
At a later meeting, Lisa asks if something can be created so that NeNe can be in her fashion show. They discuss what size NeNe is, and Lisa thinks she’s an 8. Tracy feels that she is a plus size.
Sheree Works on She by Sheree
Sheree had an illustrator come in and draw the sketches of the designs she had in mind. She sent the sketches to a designer to create them. Sheree claims to be totally hands on because she is picking out the fabric, buttons, and thread. Sheree wants to sell her clothes in higher end boutiques or even Saks Fifth Avenue.
Kandi Burruss and T-Boz Talk
Kandi meets with T-Boz from TLC. Kandi shows her four carat ring and confesses that AJ is only 34, but that he has four baby mamas for his six children. T-Boz says she can’t handle more than two ex-women.
T-Boz talks about getting in shape for her Japan shows. Kandi tells T-Boz she had to go to a weight loss clinic because she was so fat, she was up to 138 pounds. T-Boz is shocked, and says she never got that fat.
Sheree Throws a Housewarming Party
Sheree has a stylist and makeup artist prepping her for her housewarming. She hires a dessert chef, a sommelier, and a florist. She has a beautiful party planned for friends she calls “positive people.” NeNe, Lisa, and Tania are in the group, but don’t behave very positively.
When Lisa meets Tania, she says “You’re tiny. I’m a size 2 so you must be a size 0.” NeNe jokingly says she’s going to get Tania a sandwich. Tania tells her no thanks, and she has room to grow to be NeNe’s size. NeNe is shocked.
Lisa then compliments Tania on her hair. Tania tells Lisa she should do something with her own hair. Tania tells Lisa she has swimmer’s hair. She says she needs someone to push her in the pool.
NeNe and Lisa are both very offended. They go outside and come back into the party again, to change their energy and make it more positive. They bring in a gift of sage for smudging the house and getting rid of evil spirits. In spite of the problems with Tania, Sheree says this party made her feel very happy with her new beginning.
In the next episode, Lisa comes to terms with her brother Mijo’s death, and Kandi’s mom walks out on a photography shoot when AJ enters. To see the drama unfold, viewers will need to tune in to Episode 19, on August 20, 2009 on Bravo TV.
