Bob Mackie Stage Look Challenge & Christina Aguilera Witch Dress

Designers created a stage look for pop singer Christina Aguilera while taking inspiration from renowned designer Bob Mackie.

Last week, the Project Runway models didn't have to walk the runway since the challenge featured divorced women. During the model selection process, Gordana had a misunderstanding with Althea and purposely didn't select her favorite model Tara. Due to this, Tara was eliminated and Gordana very upset.

This week's challenge required the designers to create a stage look in the style of renowned Bob Mackie. The designers took inspiration from Mackie to tailor a costume for pop singer Christina Aguilera.

Design Challenge Results & Designer Elimination

The episode opens with Carol Hannah being announced the challenge winner. Heidi then turned her attention to the bottom two designers, Christopher and Shirin. Katie and Ebony feared elimination. When Heidi announced Shirin was eliminated, Ebony broke down.

Heidi met the models at the runway to discuss their week. The models loved seeing Christina Aguilera and Lisa was pleased that her designer won the challenge. Katie admitted that she was unimpressed with Christopher's design since it focused on showing off her butt. Heidi told the models to not slouch or frown while the dresses are being judged, specifically Kalyn and Ebony.

After returning home and relaxing for the night, the models were invited to go on a casting call for Garnier. The audition required the models to speak which worried a few of them. Tanisha and Kalyn did well, but Lisa fumbled her way through the audition and couldn't even finish it.

Heidi met the fashion designers at the runway and brought out the nervous models. Heidi informed the designers that they must become comfortable working with change and would not be allowed to select the model used during the prior week.

Carol Hannah was the winning designer this week and was allowed to select first. Forced to change models, Carol Hannah selected Tanisha. Irina picked Kalyn, Logan chose Celine, Gordana selected Katie, Nicolas picked Kojii, Christopher chose Matar, and Althea made the final selection of Lisa. Due to this, Ebony was eliminated.

Ebony returned to the green room to say goodbye to the other models. She returned to the model apartment and packed her bags. She admitted to feeling even more hungry for a career in modeling.

Next week, the models take a burlesque dance class where Celine's exhibits her lack of coordination. Katie continues to rant about Christopher's designs.
