Models as Clients Challenge Summary & Vanessa Forms Model Dream Team

Vanessa, Lisa, and Tanisha consider themselves the model dream team which offends others in the model apartment. At night, the models attend a modeling industry event.

Last week, the Project Runway team surfwear challenge resulted in Mitchell being eliminated. Several designs opted to change models last week, including Louise who had her model stolen by Althea. In the end, Epperson's former model Erica was not chosen by anyone and was eliminated.

This week's challenge required the designers to create a design for their models who would be their clients. The models planned to attend an industry event and would be styled by the designers.

The following episode summary contains spoilers, including the which model wins the weekly challenge and which one is eliminated.

Design Challenge Results & Designer Elimination

The episode opens with Qristyl and Logan in the bottom two. Heidi announced Qristyl was eliminated, thus putting Valerie in jeopardy again. Some of the models felt badly since their poorly rated designers had designed what they wanted. Qristyl visited the model room to say her goodbyes.

Heidi brought the models to the runway and asked about their week. One model asked how to handle designers and Heidi warned to be nice so they would get picked by them again. Heidi then told Tara that she needs to step up her walk next week.

Back at the apartment, Lisa, Vanessa and Tanisha talked about how well they were doing in the competition and named themselves the "dream team." The models noticed that the designers were becoming more loyal to their models and were changing less.

Heidi surprises the models at their apartment to give them advice for their industry party. Since the models had to wear the dress their designer made for them, several worried about the dresses which received poor ratings. Koji decided not to wear her dress since it was in the bottom two. Valerie felt the same about Qristyl's losing design.

At the party, several designers were there and Valerie booked a job with Ed Hardy.

Models of the Runway Model Elimination

Heidi met the fashion designers at the runway and brought out the models. The winning designer Althea selected first decided to stay with Tanisha. All of the remaining designers stayed with their same models and didn't make any changes. Due to this, Valerie was eliminated for her second time.

Valerie said her goodbyes and reflected on all she would be taking away from this experience.

Next Week on Models of the Runway

The fighting between Fatma and Vanessa heats up again as Fatma expresses her views on Americans. Models in the apartment begin to take issue with the dream team.
