John Gives Himself Immunity on I'm a Celebrity
I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here!, Episode 10
On the June 16, 2009 episode of I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here!, Episode 10, the celebrities learned to deal with a new leader and Sanjaya confused and unnerved everyone.
John Lays Down the Law
John’s first job as leaders was to allocate responsibilities. He immediately told the celebrities they need to clean up their areas and clean up themselves. He told everyone they can not have food unless they wash their hands. John even showed the celebrities an example of how they should eat from now on. Stephen was upset because he doesn’t like anyone to tell him “the right way” to do things.
Celebrity Slasher Film
Stephen decided the celebrities should make a horror film. Lou was named the director, and Stephen produced the movie. Lou spent a lot of time quietly thinking up scenes and took his job very serious. Stephen and Torrie thought Lou may have taken it too serious.
Holly was excited about being cast as the young, sweet, innocent girl who has a love scene with Sanjaya.
Janice thought Lou did an amazing job, and she loved watching him in his element.
The celebrities got to watch the movie later that night and loved it. There were a lot of giggles, but everyone seemed to enjoy their work. Stephen said Sanjaya was the breakthrough performer. He also loved Patti’s performance.
Lou Seeks Revenge
Lou and Torrie had to pull stars out of a gigantic bin full of snakes for the food challenge. The stars had to be pulled out in numerical order, and the first person to get all five of their stars would win an Italian feast.
The pair competed at the same time, and the difficult part seemed to be maneuvering around each other. They had to move the stars through the tank via arm holes in the tank. Both celebrities did really well and showed practically no fear.
Torrie wasn’t far behind during the race, but Lou got an early lead. Torrie caught up when Lou had trouble untying his final star, and it was really neck and neck. Lou did manage to place his final star first, though.
Sanjaya: The Gay Best Friend
Janice loves Sanjaya. She takes full advantage of him, and she loves how he will do whatever she asks him to. John is confused by Sanjaya’s attachment to Janice, and he believes Sanjaya changes whenever he is around Janice, such as putting on black eyeliner and doing Janice’s hair.
Sanjaya told Holly he isn’t surprised Janice wants him to be her gay best friend, and he admitted that his friends call him their straight, gay best friend. Holly is sort of offended by the statement and doesn’t really understand Sanjaya’s OK attitude about it.
Immunity Challenge
The week’s immunity challenge had the celebrities balancing on a plank while trying to keep a box above their head closed with a pole. Stephen decided to sit out because he didn’t want to be in the finals because he is strong. He wants to know the people want him there.
Janice was out seconds after they started. Torrie was next to go after she got the giggles. Patti was the third out. John decided to go right after Patti, and Holly was out not long after.
The challenge came down to Lou and Sanjaya. Sanjaya believed Lou could stay there for days so he gave up.
You Decide, John
John was told by the hosts he was allowed to give immunity to one person. He was given 20 seconds to decide, and he chose himself before the time even started. He said he was there to win.
The celebrities were also told two people would be eliminated on Thursday.
