Jillian hits a ropes course with one bachelor and rides in a helicopter with another bachelor; Jillian finally meets Ed's family

On the July 13, 2009 episode of The Bachelorette, Week 9 (Season 5), Jillian and the three remaining bachelors went to Maui for overnight dates.

Hitting the Ropes with Kiptyn

Jillian decided to test her trust for Kiptyn by taking him to a ropes course. Jillian wanted an indication that Jillian would be there for her during the tough times. Jillian was happy Kiptyn showed his goofy side on the course. At the end of the course Jillian felt Kiptyn had been encouraging and comforting. She finally felt she could trust him.

During dinner Jillian asked Kiptyn about his flaws again. He said in the past he isn’t 100 percent there and is sometimes impatient. Jillian said she worries things won’t be perfect and he will run. He told her not to worry about that.

In the fantasy suite the couple kissed on a bed in a candlelit room before closing the door for the night.

Helicopter Heaven with Reid

Jillian and Reid went on a scenic helicopter tour. The pilot was an ordained minister so Jillian joked about getting married then. Reid thought it was romantic but said that just isn’t like him. At lunch Reid admitted to being freaked out by the comment and said sometimes he feels rushed by the situation.

During dinner Jillian pushed Reid again to say whether or not he would propose soon. Reid said he might propose but isn’t sure. He said he is ready but had a hard time expressing himself. Jillian said she could see in Reid’s eyes that he was trying to find the right thing to say. Jillian then pulled out the date card, and they both agreed it was important to spend the night. Reid promised they would discuss things further that night.

In the fantasy suite Reid got very flustered telling Jillian he is falling in love with her. We left the couple kissing in a bubble bath.

Jillian Meets Ed’s Family

Jillian and Ed cruised to and swim in a secluded cove. On the boat Jillian again said she missed meeting Ed’s family. Ed then surprised Jillian with the news that he had flown his family to Hawaii to meet her. Jillian was ecstatic.

Jillian gushed over Ed when she met his parents. Jillian told Ed’s mothers she feels a strong connection for Ed and she missed him a lot when he left. Judy said she can tell Ed really cares about Jillian. When Jillian and Judy were gone Ed’s father said the situation was crazy. Ed said he had salvaged his job and wouldn’t have jepordized his job if he wasn’t really serious about Jillian.

In the fantasy suite Ed told Jillian he is falling in love with her and has never felt this way. The mood was very romantic when Ed carried Jillian to the bed. Jillian put on a night gown, and the couple massaged each other with oil. The evening didn’t go as planned, though. Jillian said they were exhausted and sunburned, but she also said she felt the love but not the passion. Ed said he was nervous and was upset he couldn’t show Jillian his love.

Rose Ceremony

Before the ceremony Jillian viewed personal videos each bachelor had made for her.

At the ceremony Jillian pulled Ed aside. She said she had concerns about their chemistry level. He said there were just a lot of external things going on. She didn’t look comforted by his answer.

In the end, Jillian sent Reid home because they are in different places in their lives.

Jillian,"We can begin to experience the love that exist beyond sexuality and honors the unique individuality of the other. We begin to understand that our partner often funcions as a mirror, reflecting unseen aspects of our deeper self and supporting us to become whole. This love is based in freedom, not expectatin or need.If you become aware and alert, meditative, then sex can be transformed into love. What we call love is really a whole spectrum of relating, reaching from the Earth to the Sky and compassion is the highest phenomenon.Good luck to you, lady and to yours "TWO FINAL GENTLEMAN"I WISH YOU PEACE,LOVE and HARMONY Be ALL OF YOU happy, healthy and save Your Slovak friend Natalia
