MTV The Inferno 3 Episode 11Real World/Road Rules Challenge: Giraffic Park Mission
Competition is heating up as the challenge nears its final missions. Which team will rise above the backstabbing and conniving and come out on top?
Episode 11: Match PointMission: Giraffic ParkThe Bad Ass and Good Guys team started off with a mission called Giraffic Park in which the teams had to race head to head from one beach to another, running/swimming in shallow water to a beach on the other side. Each competitor had to reveal a giraffe locked in a cage. The goal of the challenge was to get to the other side of the water as fast as possible and retrieve the giraffe that matched the one in the cage, by memory only. The matching giraffe had a key that would unlock the cage thus ending the individual time once both giraffes were in the cage. With that being said, it wouldn't be a Real World/Road Rules challenge without side alliances and team members going against each other. Episode 10 left Susie and Jenn waiting to compete in the mission to gain the life shield and get themselves out of The Inferno. Cara, of course having an alliance with Susie, attempted to throw her leg of the race a bit by stumbling and taking longer to complete the mission. Tonya couldn't help but want Susie to fail and land in The Inferno due to her open dislike of her. Half way through the race John was able to figure out a strategy to help the Good Guys win the mission. Each giraffe in the cage had distinct markings on one leg that would match the giraffe on the other side. The Bad Ass team however, did not discover these marks at any time during the mission. Most of the Good Guys team were able to quickly find their giraffe and in turn short times. The Good Guys were able to pull out the mission bringing the cash totals equal at $60,000 a piece. Who won the Life Shield?Janelle and Paula gained the quickest time in the mission each winning a life shield, thus sending Jenn and Susie into The Inferno. Once back at the house, Ace confronted John on why he wasn't told about the markings. Cara had tried to convince Ace that John had intentionally kept the information from him to gain and edge and win the prize, a scooter. With Paula's help, John was able to shed light on the Susie/Cara alliance and how it was doing nothing but hurting the team, and that he had tried to tell Ace about his strategy. None the less, both teams were off to The Inferno. The Inferno: Zero GravityNeither Paula nor Janelle decided to save Susie or Jenn and send themselves into The Inferno for them. The Inferno, Zero Gravity, required both Susie and Jenn to race up their respective ladders attached to a pulley with 70% of their body weight. This made it easy for them to get up the ladder, but more difficult for them to get down. The goal was to go up the ladder and retrieve a flag and go back down to attach it at the bottom. Each of the 4 flags had to be retrieved separately. Susie and Jenn started out even, but with the first flag, Jenn had trouble disconnecting the carabineer from her belt which put her too far behind for her to catch up. Without any snags, Susie was able to connect all 4 flags in the time it took Jenn to do 2. Aneesa was upset to see Jenn go and gave her a tearful embrace on her way out, and Tonya was disappointed to see Susie stay. After being voted in to every girl Inferno, Susie hoped that the win would convince the Bad Ass team to back down and not vote her in again. Who remains to compete in Episode 12?7 competitors remain on each team: John, Alton, Ace, Davis, Cara, Susie and Paula for the Good Guys and Derrick, Abram, Kenny, Aneesa, Ev, Janelle and Tonya for the Bad Asses. Episode 12 features the remaining competitors competing in the Captain's Chair mission. The Inferno 3 airs on MTV, Tuesdays at 10pm.
