In the previous episode, the 19 I Love Money 2 cast members arrive at the mansion in Mexico to compete for the show's $250,000 prize.
In episode one, the I Love Money cast divided into two teams: the green team and the gold team. The two winners of a coin search challenge - T-Weed and 20-Pack were named as the two team captains.
In lieu of a challenge that would have determined a paymaster (the team captain of the winning team that gets to decide who, out of three nominated team members on the opposite team, will be sent home), the two teams are formed.
The one remaining cast member who was not chosen for a team was automatically sent home. It ultimately came down to Tamara and Leilene (better known as "Smiley" during her time on Flavor of Love). T-Weed asked the two girls to arm wrestle, the winner invited to join his team. In the end, Tamara is eliminated and sent home.
A Summary of I Love Money 2's Second Episode
The second episode of I Love Money 2 starts with the selection of the two new team captains.
The green team consists of Buddha, Myammee, Onyx, Buckwild, Milf, Leilene, T-Weed, Bonez, Ice
The gold team consists of Heat, Sapphyri, The Entertainer, Prancer, Cali, Angelique, 20-pack, Tailor Made and It.
The gold team picks Heat as their new team captain, while the green team picks Myammee.
The challenge for I Love Money 2's second episode is this: a boxing ring is suspended over water; each team picks one person at a time to fight. This is a "best out of seven challenge."
Prior to the formation of teams, Onyx (now on the green team) made an alliance with The Entertainer and Heat (now on the gold team). So to honor this first of many I Love Money alliances, Onyx offers to throw the challenge for his team. The losing green team - which includes the strongest person on the show, Buddha - could then nominate Buddha as one of three people that the opposing team's captain can send home.
But when Onyx is picked to go into the ring, Heat puts him in a no-win situation by picking the physically smallest person on the gold team: Prancer.
"How am I supposed to throw the challenge against a girl? There's no way!" Onyx exclaims. And The Entertainer shares those sentiments, "Heat's an idiot. If this does go as planned, and Prancer does beat Onyx, how's anyone going to believe that? Onyx is a boxer, for God's sake!"
Onyx gives it his best shot, giving Prancer ever opportunity to win, and in the process, Onyx's team quickly realizes that he's a double agent. In the end, Onyx has no choice but to win the fight against Prancer, but it's too late - his team realizes he's working for the gold team.
The Elimination: Who's Sent Home on I Love Money 2's Second Episode?
The green team loses the boxing challenge, which means they must nominate three people to be considered for elimination: Onyx, Buckwild and Leilene.
Buckwild and Sapphyri pressure Leilene to forfeit, saying she's likely to be eliminated anyways. The reasoning? If Leilene forfeits, the green team will have to pick another team member to be considered for elimination; Buckwild and several others would attempt to nominate Buddha, as he poses the greatest physical threat.
But Leilene decides against forfeitting and she manages to get on the paymaster's (Heat's) good side with some good, old fashioned ego stroking.
Buckwild is perhaps the least at risk of going home, since her strong ally Sapphyri is on the opposing team. But Onyx is not so lucky. While Onyx was an ally of the gold team, Heat says he feels "betrayed" that Onyx didn't blow the challenge - despite the fact that Heat put Onyx in an impossible situation by picking Prancer as his competitor.
Ultimately, Heat gives Leilene and Buckwild their checks; Onyx's check is voided. Onyx is eliminated and sent home.
