The Huffmans were voted off Here Come the Newlyweds by the other couples after the carnival challenge.

On June 15, 2009, there were six couples left and the prize money was 215,000 dollars. The host of Here Come the Newlyweds, Pat Bullard, asked the couples questions to add money to the final prize, the couples competed in a carnival challenge, and the Huffmans were sent home.

Pet Peeve Questions

Pat Bullard, the host of Here Come the Newlyweds, asked each couple three questions that related to the topic of pet peeves. If the wife and husband gave the same answer to the question, they added money to the final prize which will be won by one couple on the last episode. Here are the questions that Pat Bullard asked the couples:

  • What is the one thing your wife wastes the most money on?
  • Which is your husband worse at doing: kissing, cuddling, or foreplay?
  • If your wife ever decided to have plastic surgery, which area would she decide to have adjusted?
  • What celebrity most annoys your wife?
  • What physical feature does he complain about the most?
  • If it were up to him, how many times a week would you have sex?
  • Where would your wife least like to have sex: kitchen, car, or couch?
  • Which does your wife like the least: top or bottom?

There were ten matches in total, so the couples added 50,000 dollars to the pot which meant that the final prize was 265,000 dollars.

Carnival Challenge and Elimination

The couples were asked to run their own carnival booths. They each had 250 dollars to spend on games and prizes and were taken to a flea market to buy items for their booths. The goal of the challenge was to make the most money at the carnival. Whoever made the most money would win the challenge and be safe from elimination. The couples were given paint and supplies to decorate their booths before the children arrived.

The Corlisses set up a tattoo booth where children could get temporary tattoos. It was not the best idea, because it took a long amount of time to apply the tattoos to each child. The Huffmans, Newberys, and Hinkins all set up throwing games. The McMorrises set up a dancing competition and the Iengs had a coin toss. The outcome of the carnival challenge was:

  • 6th place: Corlisses
  • 5th place: Huffmans
  • 4th place: Newberys
  • 3rd place: McMorrises
  • 2nd place: Iengs
  • 1st place: Hinkins

Pat Bullard gave the Hinkins the option of 25,000 dollars or safety from elimination. After talking it over, the Hinkins decided to give the 25,000 dollars back and keep their safety from elimination. During the elimination round, the couples each voted for the couple they wanted to be sent home. The Hinkins said that some couples deserved to win more than others. The Corlisses and Huffmans had the most votes and ultimately the Huffmans were sent home.

On June 15, 2009, on Here Come the Newlyweds, the couples were asked questions about their pet peeves, the couples competed in a carnival challege and the Huffmans were sent home.
