Hell's Kitchen Episode 10The chefs gather in the kitchen the next morning. Chef Ramsay asks each team to name the weakest chef on their team. The Red team selects Andrea, while the Blue team chooses Ben. Chef Ramsay asks Andrea and Ben to step forward and remove their jackets. Ben and Andrea are afraid that Ramsay is sending them home, but Ramsay gives them, and the other chefs, new jackets and announces that they are now one team, the Black team. In their first individual challenge, the chefs have to create a unique dish using 14 ingredients. Each chef will have the same 14 ingredients for their dishes. The winner receives a culinary tour of San Francisco with Chef Ramsay. The losing chefs will spend the day taking deliveries and prepping the kitchen for dinner service that night. The winning dish will also be featured on the menu for dinner service. Chef Ramsay tastes each creation, and he chooses Ben's dish as the winner. Ramsay tells Ben he can choose one other chef to accompany him to San Francisco and Ben chooses Robert. For the first dinner service as one kitchen, the chefs have a weak start. Food is being sent back to the kitchen. The stress proves too much for Andrea, who leaves the kitchen. Jean-Philippe convinces her to return. Giovanni has trouble cooking Ben's winning entree, and Ben is recruited to help. Because of Giovanni's carelessness, Robert severely burns his hand. Chef Ramsay declares that their first dinner service as a team is a nightmare. Paula is selected to nominate two chefs for elimination. Paula nominates Andrea and Giovanni. Chef Ramsay also has Robert join them. In the end, Chef Ramsay asks Giovanni to turn in his jacket and leave Hell's Kitchen. The remaining chefs return to the dorm, only to be called back to the kitchen a few hours later by Chef Ramsay. Chef Ramsay informs them that he is closing Hell's Kitchen. Hell's Kitchen Episode 11As the chefs stand in shock over Chef Ramsay's announcement that he is closing Hell's Kitchen, Ramsay tells them that he is closing so that the chefs can take a trip to Atlantic City and the Borgata hotel. The five chefs get a tour of the space where the winning chef's restaurant will be, along with spa treatments and a day at the pool. During dinner with Borgata's executive chef, Robert disappears. Unbeknownst to the others, he is having chest pains and is taken to the hospital. The chefs return to Hell's Kitchen without Robert. Robert returns later and tells them that he cannot continue because of his health. Sadly, he turns in his jacket and leaves Hell's Kitchen. The remaining chefs are challenged to create a signature dish for their restaurant at Borgata. The winning chef will be safe from elimination. Andrea wins with her creation. During dinner service, all of the chefs struggle, but Andrea seems to be having the most problems. Chef Ramsay tells her that she is lucky that she is safe tonight. After service, each chef is instructed to nominate a chef for elimination, coming to a consensus on two names. In the dorms, the other chefs tell Andrea that since she is safe, she must decide which two chefs will be up for elimination. Andrea chooses Paula and Ben. Ramsay declares that Paula is safe, and sends her back to the line. He then asks Andrea to join Ben. Chef Ramsay tells her that if he was not a man of his word, she would be going home. He then tells Ben that he cannot in good conscience send him home either, since Andrea was worse than Ben.
