In episode 13, Andrea, Paula and Danny vie for the title of Head Chef at Borgata in Atlantic City, NJ.

Ben's luck finally ran out as he was eliminated from the competition in Episode 12. After Ben is sent home, Chef Ramsay tells Andrea, Paula and Danny that he has a surprise in store for them.

Hell's Kitchen Episode 13

The doors open up and the loved ones of the three remaining chefs walk in. There are two family members present for each chef, and they get to spend a few precious moments together. After the loved ones leave, Chef Ramsay sends the chefs to the dorms to prepare for the next day's challenge.

Hell's Kitchen Chefs cook for Los Angeles Chefs

At the challenge, the chefs are instructed to prepare 100 portions of a lunch dish in 90 minutes. They will be serving these portions to a group of mystery guests. Each chef gets busy preparing their dishes, wondering who they will be serving.

At the end of 90 minutes, Chef Ramsay reveals that the aspiring chefs will be serving their lunch portions to 100 of Los Angeles' finest Chefs. The chefs taste all three dishes and rate each one. The Chefs all agree that Andrea and Paula's dishes are the best, but name Paula the clear winner.

A Reward for Paula, Punishment for Danny and Andrea

While Andrea and Danny clear the dining room after lunch including washing and pressing the linens, Paula receives a make-over as the first part of her reward. She receives the second part of her reward the next day, while Danny and Paula clean the rest of the Hell's Kitchen restaurant. Paula and Chef Ramsay head off to do an interview on Good Day LA, the Fox morning show.

Hell's Kitchen Dinner Service

After returning to Hell's Kitchen, Paula joins Danny and Andrea for that night's dinner service. Besides preparing the meal, each chef will take a turn at the pass. The chefs are tested with deliberate sabotaging by Chef Ramsay, with the help of Chef Scott, Chef Gloria and Jean-Philippe.

Each chef has some problems in the kitchen, as well as at the pass. Despite these problems, dinner service is a success and Chef Ramsay is happy. After service, Ramsay asks Danny, Paula and Andrea to each select the person they feel should not be in the finals. Danny and Paula select Andrea, and Andrea selects Danny.

The Final Two Chefs

Despite what the chefs think, the final decision is up to Chef Ramsay. Since both Danny and Andrea were nominated for elimination, Ramsay asks each of them to state why they should stay in Hell's Kitchen. After listening to both of their pleas, Chef sends Andrea out of Hell's Kitchen, leaving Paula and Danny to compete head-to-head in the finale.
