Dancing with the Stars, “804”

David Alan Grier and Kym danced the Lindy-Hop. Len thought it wasn’t Grier’s best but not his worst either. Bruno thought Grier’s footwork needed improvement but loved his energy. Carrie Ann thought the whole thing was great. Score – 22

Lil’ Kim and Derek danced the Argentine tango. Bruno thought it was a terrific tango with terrific choreography. Carrie Ann loved the use of Lil’ Kim’s long legs. Len thought it lacked sensuality, which the other judges quickly dismissed. Score – 27

Chuck Wicks and Julianne danced the Lindy-Hop. Carrie Ann wanted to see him “almost lose control.” Len thought Wicks needs to come back stronger. Bruno liked the style but said the dance needed to be crisper. Score – 22

Lawrence Taylor and Edyta danced the Argentine tango. Len thought Taylor looked uncomfortable and lacked passion. Bruno thought the performance and character was good. Carrie Ann thought the couple lacked compatibility. Score – 19

Ty Murray and Chelsie danced the Lindy-Hop. Bruno thought Murray had improved leaps and bounds. Carrie Ann screamed, “Ty Murray is a dancer.” Len said Murray blew his expectations out of the water. Score – 25

Steve Wozniak and Karina danced the Argentine tango. Carrie Ann thought it was boring and passionless. Len said it was an improvement from last week. Bruno said it really stunk. Score – 12

Melissa Rycroft and Tony danced the Lindy-Hop. Len said the couple has the potential to go all the way. Bruno said they beautifully covered the whole spectrum of the Lindy-Hop. Carrie Ann said she was finally impressed by Rycroft. Score – 29

Holly Madison and Dmitry danced the Argentine tango. Bruno thought it was a bad start that just kept getting worse. Carrie Ann said she doesn’t think she is building strength. Len agreed with Carrie Ann. Score – 16

Steve-O and Lacey danced the Lindy-Hop. Carrie Ann was happy Steve-O made it through the routine, but she thought he was a step behind Lacey most of the time. Len thought Steve-O’s timing was off a lot. Bruno called the couple’s dance “hopping mad,” and he told Steve-O to listen to the music more. Score – 15

Gilles Marini and Cheryl danced the Argentine tango. Len thought it was full of passion. Bruno thought Marini’s tango was intensely dangerous. Carrie Ann said she couldn’t tell who was the professional and who was the celebrity. Score – 30

Shawn Johnson and Mark danced the Lindy-Hop. Bruno thought the tricks and gymnastics were great, but he wanted more dancing. Carrie Ann thought she needed to be lighter on her feet. Len said there were too many tricks. Score – 25
