The Red Robots make a big comeback with one of the Green Tigers' players; The contestants play wack-a-mole with each others' heads and dress up as vision-impaired mice

On the July 1, 2009 episode of I Survived a Japanese Game Show, 203, the Green Tigers had to send one teammate to the Red Robots to even things up. The group took a secret vote, and Cathy was sent to the Red Robots.

Cathy Causes Regret

The first game was similar to Wack-a-Mole. The players had to poke their heads up through a table and try to spit a ball in to a nearby bin. The other team defended the score by hitting the heads with rubber hammers and swatting the balls with noodle-like swords. The game seemed exhausting for the defending team, and thankfully no one swallowed any of the ping pong balls.

The end result was 66 balls in the bin versus 106 balls in the bin. The Red Robots got their first win, and the Green Tigers were shocked. They were even more shocked when the person they sent away, Cathy, got more balls than any other individual.

Red Robots Finally in the Game

For the second game the contestants had to dress up like mice and wear vision-impaired glasses. One person filled containers with milk then sent them down a conveyor belt where three other contestants, who are wearing boxing gloves, were waiting to catch the containers and transfer the milk to a bucket. The fifth person was The Big Cheese and hung above the conveyor belt shouting directions. Justin was The Big Cheese for the Red Robots, and Debbie was The Big Cheese for the Green Tigers.

This was a tough challenge for the Green Tigers. Debbie tried to countdown for the catchers but it didn’t always turn out OK. Megan had the hardest time. She was frustrated she couldn’t see and wasn’t catching anything.

The Red Robots advantage was that one of their catchers did not have to wear boxing gloves. The Red Robots did much better catching the containers, and they looked like the obvious winners.

The Red Robots won but not by much. Their prize was a first-class trip to the most famous restaurant in Japan. The Green Tigers punishment was creating a very large Zen garden, which was a lot harder than it looked.

Week 3

The Green Tigers decided to send Debbie and Brent to the elimination challenge. Brent and Debbie believed they did not send Bobaloo to elimination because they know they can beat him.

For this week’s elimination challenge the contestants dressed as penguins and had to waddle around popping egg balloons with their bellies.

Brent went wild popping balloons. He ran in to some trouble with a few of them, but he had a nice rhythm going. Debbie had trouble at first, but she quickly got the hang of it. Unfortunately, she put so much energy in to the first nine or 10 that she could barely continue after that. You could tell she was beyond exhausted.

The final score was Brent, 20, and Debbie, 16, so Debbie was sent back to America.
