Confessions of a Teen Idol is showing the stars who they have affected in the past, as they meet with friends and family. A charity auction shakes up the cast.

In last week’s episode of Confessions of a Teen Idol, the idols had their patience tried as they faced the paparazzi. Despite the chaotic nature of their challenges, Jamie Walters (Beverly Hills, 90210) has used the opportunity to concentrate on his music while Jeremy Jackson (Baywatch) is doing a seven day raw food cleanse, with the help of Eric Nies (The Real World).

Facing their Celebrity Pasts

Jason Hervey arrives at the house to speak to the teen idols. They are going to spend the day meeting with people from their pasts who were affected by their fame. Some of the idols have specific people they hope will not arrive, such as ex-wives. In the end, all the meetings were positive and helpful to the stars. Friends and family members spoke to the stars about unresolved events in their pasts.

Adrian Zmed (T.J. Hooker) met with his two sons, who were hurt that he was never around during their childhood but still remembered that he made sure to call every night. Eric Nies spoke with his brother, who was frustrated watching Eric party and do drugs. Jeremy Jackson’s younger sister arrived, prompting him to really think about how much his family had to go through. Billy Hufsey (Fame) met with his old friend Roberto Roman, who was the person closest to Billy when they came to Los Angeles. Jamie Walters was visited by music producer Steve Tyrell. The two worked together in the past and Steve still believes in Jamie’s talent and celebrity.

Therapy with Cooper Lawrence

After their day of revelations, the celebrities sit down with celebrity therapist Cooper Lawrence to discuss the affects of celebrity on friendships. They all find fame to be lonely because you never know the motivations of people who want to be your friend or date you. After all of this time talking about the past, the teen idols feel ready to move into the future and explore their gifts further.

Booking Jamie Walters

Though Jamie Walters seems to know he has a gift and is still writing music, Jeremy Jackson knows that he won’t go out of his way to book a show. So Jeremy calls his friend Jeff, at a club called The Mint. Jeremy booked Jamie into their talent spotlight. Though Jamie seemed a little irritated at first, he became excited and decided that this was why they are in the house.

The night of the show, everyone came out to see Jamie perform. His wife and friends were there, along with all his housemates. Jason Hervey introduced him to a man who is producing a movie and looking for music for the soundtrack. The show was a hit and there is little doubt that Jamie will work for this again.

Teen Idol Charity Auction

The next day, Jason Hervey stops by the house again and tells the idols that they are going to be putting on a charity event for the organization Drop in the Bucket. Each guy will put together a package that represents who they are. The red carpet came out that night and their fans filled the room.

Jeremy Jackson offered 24 hours with him, and also would match the donation. This made David Chokachi (Baywatch) run into the audience and bid $2000. David and fellow blond star Christopher Atkins (Blue Lagoon) joined up for bidding. When Eric Nies offered his lessons on healthy eating, however, things got rocky. A female fan offered a hundred dollars for every item of clothing that Eric would take off. Though everyone was egging him on, Eric felt controlled and was reminded of things that happened in his past.

Eric Nies Leaves the Show

After the event, Eric Nies was angry about the way things played out. He decided that this project was not worth it to him and packed his things. Jeremy Jackson called producers Scott Baio and Jason Hervey to let them know what was going on, but Eric decided not to speak with them. He said his good-byes and drove away.

Stay tuned for next week’s episode of Confessions of a Teen Idol, where they meet with an image consultant. New episodes air Sundays on VH1. Visit the Confessions of a Teen Idol Page for cast profiles, episode summaries, and more.

I think the show is great, it is smart and well produced. It is almost like a case study, watching actors on a show travel back and forth over the line of being human and superhuman.
