Reality TV started off strong this week with the premiere of a new season of Celebrity Apprentice.

The Amazing Race teams traveled to Romania this week to complete a gymnastics challenge and a coffin challenge. Also, 16 new celebrities joined forces for a good cause and some tough competition on Celebrity Apprentice.

The Amazing Race, "I'm Not Wearing that Girl's Leotard"

This week the teams traveled to Romania to complete a gymnastics challenge. Tammy and Victor took a hit when their flight had to make an emergency landing, and Brad and Victoria suffered after missing their connection. The next challenge for the teams was in Brasov, where they had to help gypsies move their settlement or head to Dracula’s castle to find a coffin, drag it down a hill, unlock it and search through picture frames for a wooden stake. While on the hunt for the coffins Victor led Tammy in to the complete wrong direction and Victor would not listen. The two got in a huge fight over this and ultimately finished eighth. Finishing first this leg was Mike and Mel, and Brad and Victoria were eliminated.

Celebrity Apprentice, "Cupcake Challenge"

Celebrity Apprentice premiered this week with a new set of competitors. Andrew Dice Clay, Brian McKnight, Clint Black, Dennis Rodman, Hershel Walker, Jesse James, Scott Hamilton and Tom Green make up team “Kotu.” Annie Duke, Brande Roderick, Claudia Jordan, Joan Rivers, Khloe Kardashian, Melissa Rivers, Natalie Gulbis and Tionne Watkins make up team “Athena.” The first challenge of the season was baking and selling cupcakes. Both teams struggled in the kitchen – “Athena” had sunken chocolate cupcakes and “Kotu” forgot the sugar – but shined on the streets. They brought in a lot of celebrity donations, but in the end “Athena,” who was led by Joan Rivers this week, blew “Kotu” out of the water winning the $15,000 taste test and making $61, 257. Hershel, who led “Kotu,” brought Andrew and Dennis in to the boardroom because he believed neither of them really contributed, and after insulting Trump several times throughout the episode and nearly quitting in the boardroom, Trump sent Andrew home.

The Biggest Loser, 3.3.09– Rocco DiSpirito stopped by to show the contestants how unhealthy their previous life was and to challenge them to a cooking competition. The black team won, and Laura was awarded one extra vote based on a random drawing. Bob took the blue team to box with Sugar Ray Leonard for their workout. The teams had to load groceries on to trucks for their challenge, and the black team received a years worth of groceries, letters from home and the opportunity to be in a national campaign. Mike gave his grocery prize to Aubrey, who has five children. Laura and Jillian had a break down about Laura’s motivation, and Jillian forces the team to name a weakest link: Laura. Laura walks out of the gym, but later the two talk it over. At the weigh in it all came down to Mike, who needed to lose at least 10 pounds to save someone on both teams. The episode will be continued next week when we will find out how much he lost and who is going home.
