In the "Video Vixens" episode of VH1's "Rock of Love 2," the remaining six girls were divided into two groups and forced to compete in a music video competition. Ambre, Kristy Joe, and Megan were on one team; Daisy, Destiney, and Jessica were on the other.
Ambre and Destiney were chosen as the video directors and thus, eligible for solo dates with Bret. Ambre really dug deep in order to win the competition, especially at one point when her editor temporarily lost their footage and she advised her team members to "Pray." Ambre's team constructed a true-to-life storyline consisting of Kristy Joe crying in bed over a guy. The only thing that misconstrued the story was Megan's scantily-clad appearance as K.J.'s consoling friend/possible lesbian romance. Meanwhile, Destiney's group focused their efforts on sex, breasts, and rock n' roll, opting out of thinking up an actual storyline. In the end, brains won out over body, and Ambre won the solo date with Bret.
The Winning Dates
For their date, Bret took Ambre to his room and introduced her to Satish, a Master Healer. Satish's introduction prompted Ambre to exclaim in her confessional: "A three-way?" After talking with the healer, Ambre and Bret discovered that their souls have known each other for 900 years. Bret then asked Ambre how old she was to make sure she wasn't 900 years old.
However, the date was disrupted when Kristy Joe decided she needed to talk to Bret right away. In his confessional, Bret said that he had hoped the knock on the door was Big John with a beer. Kristy Joe justified her interference with Bret and Ambre's date by saying she needed to talk about her impending divorce from her second husband. Bret sent Satish to talk with and console her. Satish asked such questions as, "Have you ever seen a Crazy Mountain?"
On the winning team's group date, Bret grew closer to Megan and farther and farther away from Kristy Joe. He and Megan even forgot that Kristy Joe was on the date with them at one point. "It was awkward," said Bret.
Thus, elimination should have been predictable, with Kristy Joe clearly being the next to be ousted. However, Bret threw the entire group for a loop when he had one VIP pass left to save someone from leaving and he offered it to Kristy Joe. At this point, it looked like Megan would be the one sent home since she was the only one who hadn't received a pass. The girls waited in anticipation, mouths dropped, as Kristy Joe fumbled for a response. In the end, Kristy Joe decided she needed to "take care of her business" at home. Whether this was a reference to Bret's faulty septic system is unknown, but either way, Kristy Joe's rock journey had ended.
After Bret walked her to the door, he came back and announced to the girls he couldn't go on for the night. Since the game required that only one person could go home, this meant that Megan could stay in the house. Bret nonchalantly asked Megan if she wanted to stick around, without even offering her a pass. He just walked toward the direction of his room.
In the next episode, things will get interesting when last season's Heather returns. "Rock of Love 2" airs at 9 p.m. Eastern Standard Time on VH1.
