Brandi M. is the Charm School winner, defeating 13 other Charm School cast members to get her Charm School diploma and a $100,000 prize!

The final episode of Rock of Love Charm School aired on Sunday, December 21, 2008, and it was then that reality television fans learned who won Charm School: Brandi Mahon (better known as Brandi M.) is picked over Destiney for the $100,000 prize and a Charm School diploma.

VH1's Rock of Love Charm School started out with a total of 14 girls, all of whom appeared on Rock of Love or Rock of Love II to compete for Bret Michaels' affections.

Here's a look at the girls who were initially in the running for the title of Charm School winner and graduate. The Charm School cast members are listed in the order that they were eliminated (with the exception of Raven, who leaves voluntarily by the end of episode one, and Brandi M., who wins):

Brandi M.'s Evolution From Self-Loathing to Self-Respecting

During the show, Brandi M. made a notable transformation. Since her reality television debut on VH1's Rock of Love where she was vying for the affections of Poison lead singer Bret Michaels, Brandi M. has earned a less-than-classy reputation.

Most Rock of Love fans probably remember Brandi M. as the tattooed, raspy-voiced girl who's a bit scrappy and rough around the edges. On the show, she openly farted, burped and even vomited at the table during a dinner date with Bret Michaels.

Underneath it all, Brandi admits she was unhappy, self-loathing and completely lacking self-respect.

Brandi M. got into her fair share of trouble while in Charm School. In fact, out of all the cast members, she was the girl who was most often called down to the carpet by Headmistress Sharon Osbourne during the Charm School elimination ceremonies. Brandi's closest call occurred in episode four, when Brandi is involved in a fight with Megan Hauserman.

The fight occurs as Megan, Brandi C. and Lacey are chatting in their bedroom when Brandi M. tries to eves drop. Frustrated with Brandi M.'s antics, Megan confronts Brandi M. and kicks her in an effort to banish her from the room.

In the minutes following the fight with Megan, Brandi M. writes a letter to Sharon Osbourne. The two girls are called forward and questioned about the argument and Megan claims she was just defending herself and her chihuahua Lily, and she alleges that Brandi M. threw the first punch. Lacey and Brandi C. even support Megan's claim that Brandi M. threw the first punch, but much to Megan's dismay, Sharon eliminates her, as she decides to give Brandi M. another chance.

Throughout the show, Brandi was repeatedly put on notice and told that she was very close to expulsion, but it seems that the frequent warnings actually helped Brandi. She was able to work through her personal demons and flaws , evolving and changing into an all-around better person, as Brandi explains at the final Charm School ceremony.

In the end, it's Brandi M.'s speech from the heart that secures her win over Destiney. Brandi M. wins Charm School, getting a coveted Charm School diploma and a prize of $100,000.
