Cathy continues to make the Green Tigers regret letting her go; Drew almost blows Red Robot advantage; Two best friends battle for safety
On the July 8, 2009 episode of I Survived a Japanese Game Show, 204, the players competed in a bungee cord-smacking competition and a messy paint competition. Also, the other competitors noticed a romance between Jamie and Drew blooming. Cathy Rocks Red Robots AgainIn the first game the teams sat at a long table with a large board between them. Bungee cords were attached to the table, and the object of the game was for the person across from you to hit you as many times as they can with the bungee cords by letting them go. Dan sat out because of the uneven numbers. Linda and Drew went first. Linda hit Drew one out of two times, but Drew hit Linda two out of two times, naming him the winner of that round. Brent was the first person to win a round for the Green Tigers, but his one point for the team didn’t mean anything. Cathy was the anchor point for the Red Robots, and she nailed Megan in the side, giving the Red Robots another win. Drew Drops the BallIn the second game the players were put on spinning boards. One person was the catcher, and the other players had to fill buckets they were holding with paint by pulling a rope above them. The players then ran to the catcher and threw their paint the catcher in hopes he or she would catch it. Bobaloo was the catcher for the Green Tigers, and Dan was the catcher for the Red Robots. The Red Robots advantage was an extra cup. This had to have been the messiest challenge the show has done. The paint was all over the players, but it didn’t look like anyone was getting any paint in the catchers’ buckets. Megan said it was the hardest challenge they’ve done. Drew killed the advantage for the Red Robots by dropping the extra cup so they were very worried they had lost. The Red Robots had twice as much paint as the Green Tigers, winning the game. Their reward was a chance to drive race cars. The Green Tigers had to clean and fix cars at a gas station. Later that night the Green Tigers decided to send Megan and Bobaloo to the elimination game. Megan broke down in tears and volunteered herself, and she was asked to choose her competitor. Megan vs. BobalooFor the elimination challenge the players had to grab a giant teddy bear, run up a conveyor belt, travel across three spinning discs, move down a second conveyor belt and dump the teddy bear in a bin. The player with the least teddy bears collected would be eliminated. Bobaloo had a great start, and he felt that if he can get one he can get more. It wasn’t long before he began to lose energy and trip over everything. Megan had issues on the spinning discs. She would fall and get stuck spinning around on them. Megan barely made it, but she did manage to get one more bear than Bobaloo so Bobaloo was eliminated.
