Big Brother 11 Episode Twenty-Two RecapBig Brother Episode 22 Recap from August 27th Telecast
It was a stressful week in the Big Brother house and some of that was depicted in the latest CBS epsiode of the show, edited down a bit because of a lot of bad language.
After the August 25th episode of Big Brother 11, the feeling inside the house completely changed with the revelation that Jeff was going to use the power of veto. In doing so, he took Kevin off the block and put up Russell in his place. Russell was not happy about the decision, and that left him angry in the house for almost a full week, putting up a lot of venom for Jeff and Jordan to have to deal with before they could finally get to the voting at the Thursday eviction ceremony. Kevin and Natalie Celebrate Power of Veto CeremonyWhen Russell realized he was going up on the block, he was mad, but he turned out to be the only one in the house that was really upset. Jeff and Jordan had their plan go through like they had hoped, and on the other side of things Kevin and Natalie decided it was time to celebrate in private that their last minute lie had worked in the house. Their lie had been to try and convince Jeff that Russell was coming after him next, and Kevin succeeded in being able to do just that. Russell and Jeff Fight About the Veto CeremonyRussell was very upset about being put up on the block, and he can’t really be blamed for being mad about it, and Jeff started getting upset when Russell called him out with a couple of violent threats. Natalie decided to up the ante, and ran to get Jordan involved in the argument in the back yard, and Russell started directing some of his anger towards Jordan. Both exchanged threats that they would probably never carry out, and in the end it convinced Jeff that he had done the right thing by nominating Russell for eviction. It was an odd editing job though, because they didn’t show half of what took place during that huge argument on the live feeds. The anger in the house continued the next day when Russell started trying to egg on Jordan and she finally had enough of the back-handed comments from Russell. It was the same thing that Russell did to Ronnie, then Michele, and now Jeff and Jordan, revealing his true colors as a person in both the game and in real life. Instead of talking to Jeff, he kept attacking Jordan and her weight, and the CBS version only got to see half of the harassing comments that Russell tossed at Jordan. It was just plain sad, and not something a true man would do in the real world. Big Brother 11 Jury House The first real showing of the jury house also took place in the Thursday episode, showing Jessie first enjoying living in the lap of luxury for a while, and then having Lydia join him after she was evicted from the house. Their confrontation was something people were excited to see, but it appeared that her feelings for him started to boil up again as soon as she saw him, and she didn’t stay as mad as she had been when she talked to Natalie about him spilling her secrets earlier in the season. Big Brother 11 Eviction Ceremony Both Russell and Natalie gave their speeches about wanting to stay in the house, and the voting commenced for this week’s eviction. Jordan voted first and voted to evict Russell. Kevin followed up Jordan by also voting for Russell, and then Michele finished off the voting by voting to evict Russell as well. By a vote of three to zero, Russell was evicted from the Big Brother house. When Russell was evicted he made a pretty classy exit, saying good luck to the other players and headed out of the house with no venom at all. Big Brother Head of Household Competition The Big Brother head of household competition was again an endurance competition meaning that the head of household would not be revealed until after the episode was over, probably frustrating quite a few fans that watch it just on CBS. Next episode of Big Brother 11 The next episode of Big Brother 11 will air on Sunday, August 30th at 8:00 P.M. This will be where the head of household nominations for eviction from the house will take place.
