Big Brother Episode 26 Recap from September 6th Telecast
The beginning of Big Brother’s 26th episode of the season started with a look back on how Natalie had won head of household, and how she was deciding on whom to nominate. She was quite pleased with herself for winning the HOH on the last episode of Big Brother, and the power already seemed to be going to her head within the first few minutes of the show. Even her “teammate” Kevin saw what was going on and got worried in his diary room sessions.
Natalie Tells Kevin He is Being Nominated
Only minutes after winning the head of household competition, Natalie went to Kevin and told him that she was going to nominate him in an effort to confuse people as to what her intentions were this week. Kevin was not very happy at all about this idea, and did not want to get put on the block. Natalie then proceeded to go to Michele and Jordan and lie to them about wanting Kevin out of the house, and tried to convince them that she wasn’t telling a lie. Her reasoning was that Kevin was the strongest player left in the house, and it seemed that they both were falling for it.
Big Brother 11 Luxury Competition
The point of this luxury competition was to allow the houseguests to win a shopping spree. The way that the clothes luxury competition worked was by trying to match up tags from opposite sides of the backyard. The things they had to match were different each round, and they could only do it through communication, and not from sight. There was a ton of clothes in the backyard, so it was tough for them to get matches. If they could get all the matches before 10 minutes expired, they would get to use the time remaining on the clock as their shopping spree time.
It seemed interesting for the people in the competition, and there were some amusing moments during the luxury competition, but it didn’t seem like something that would end up being very exciting for most people watching the show. When the houseguests finished they were allowed three minutes and 28 seconds to run through the Big Brother house and grab as much clothing as they could possibly wear. All of the houseguests ran around trying to get as many clothes as they could, and man was it a complete mess.
Big Brother 11 Pandora’s Box #2
A second Pandora’s Box appeared in the head of household room during the episode, and Natalie was given the choice of whether or not to open it. If she opened it, she wouldn’t be allowed to play in the power of veto competition, but in exchange, she was able to see her boyfriend. When she opened the door she found her boyfriend there, but was only allowed five minutes, and in that five minutes her proposed to her, and she said yes. Big Brother offered her 15 more minutes if she didn’t mind the other houseguests getting annoyed, and she took the deal. It results in several pests dressed in costumes coming into the house and bothering the people downstairs.
When she got out of her room, she lied, and said that she lost the right to participate in the veto, and couldn’t win Big Brother anymore because she opened the door. Kevin did not believe her, nor did anyone else. Natalie took it back later, but nobody wanted anything to do with her stories at that point.
Big Brother 11 Nomination Ceremony
In the Big Brother nomination ceremony, Natalie nominated Kevin and Michele, and then lied about the reasons for doing just that.
