Big Brother 11 Episode Twenty-Four Recap
Big Brother Episode 24 Recap from September 1st, 2009
After a quick recap of the last nomination ceremony, the Natalie and Kevin lie continued as they intentionally pulled Jeff aside to tell him that he was safe. It seemed a bit unnecessary for them to impress the lie upon him again so soon after the nomination ceremony, when they could have just told him that he was going up. It wouldn’t have changed anything, and would have saved them one less lie in the house.
Big Brother 11 Pandora’s Box
Kevin walked into his HOH room to find a card telling him that he could go into a mystery room that held what was referred to as Pandora’s Box. The Pandora’s Box play was that there was a door in the HOH room, with a big question mark on it, and Kevin walked in the door to find another large box that he had to stick his hand inside in order to have a chance at $10,000 according to a clue on a television in the HOH room. Kevin made a couple of comments, and then went into the mystery room, and proceeded to place his hand inside of Pandora’s Box. A sign on the box said that if he did it, it would release $10,000.
Kevin put his hand in the box, only to have it locked in there. Elsewhere in the house, Michele walked outside to see that the backyard began raining money. The rest of the house guests started running around trying to grab money. Kevin meanwhile was given a television screen that showed what was taking place in the backyard. Jeff ran back to tell Jordan to come outside, and the house guests all began grabbing the money as fast as they could as it was dropping from the sky. They began using anything they could find to put the money in, including their underpants in an effort to secure all of it. As this was all taking place, Kevin was shown a notice that the key to let him out was somewhere in the house.
As Kevin called for Jeff and Natalie to come upstairs, Natalie went up first and was told about the key, who said she would look for it, and then went back to collect more money. Jeff then went upstairs and Kevin lied that he had to find the key if he wanted to keep his money. Jeff found the key, and then ran out for some more money. In total Jordan was able to grab $1,726, Natalie grabbed $1,904, Michele grabbed $2,563 and Jeff grabbed $3,181. When Kevin got unlocked finally he got $626 as well.
Big Brother Power of Veto Competition
In the Big Brother power of veto competition, it was the familiar challenge of morphed images, where two images of house guests are morphed into one image, and each contestant has to guess who the faces of each image represent. This is a challenge that they do almost every season, and most of the house guests had tried to prepare for this challenge by starring at the memory wall during the week. It only seemed to pay off for one person in the veto competition, as Kevin, Jeff, Jordan, Natalie, and Michele all participated.
The times were as follows; Kevin did it in 3:05, Natalie did it in 2:55, Jordan did it in 5:09, Michele did it in 1:52 and Jeff did it in 3:01, making Michele’s time the fastest, and giving her the power of veto win, and the chance to take herself off the block at the power of veto ceremony.
Big Brother Power of Veto Ceremony
Given the chance, Michele took herself off the block, forcing Kevin to put up a replacement nominee. Kevin then chose to put Jordan up on the block against Jeff.
Next Episode of Big Brother 11
The next episode of Big Brother 11 is scheduled to air on Thursday, September 3rd at 8:00 P.M. This will be when the houseguests vote to evict the next person and a new head of household competition is held.
