Big Brother 11 Episode Ten RecapBig Brother Episode 10 Recap from July 30th Telecast
The 10th episode of Big Brother 11 was set to eliminate the third houseguest, and give a new person the chance to become head of household for the next BB11 week.
The eviction ceremony highlighted Big Brother 11 episode 10, where the houseguests decided which one of the head of household nominees would be going home. Coming into the night it was a bit tense in the house after Michele won the power of veto and took herself off the block. Jessie then put Casey up, even though many houseguests had assumed that Jessie was targeting Ronnie. That was not the case though, as Jessie saw no reason to nominate Ronnie, and created the nominations of Jordan and Casey. Big Brother 11 Twist Julie Chen broke the news early on in the episode that the Big Brother cliques would be taken away, and every player would be back to playing on their own. It’s a typical practice of Big Brother to make moves like this, and it turned out to be the latest Big Brother twist for the current houseguests. More Big Brother Drama The fall-out of Casey ending up on the block was quickly apparent by how Jeff, Jordan, and Casey were interacting the next morning after the ceremony. Jordan saw this as a way to sit back and stay out of the way, because she felt that Casey would eventually explode about what had happened, taking any target off of her when the eviction ceremony came around. She wouldn’t be disappointed, as Casey couldn’t keep his anger hidden during the week, creating animosity in even his own clique with Kevin and Lydia. The developing relationship between Jordan and Jeff was showcased during one segment, where they interviewed both houseguest’s mothers in their hometowns. Both noted that their kids have had troubles in love, and have recently had their hearts broken by recent significant others. That seems to be the agreed reason why both Jordan and Jeff are timid as they try to hide some obvious feelings from being made public in the house. Big Brother 11 Eviction Ceremony Jordan and Casey were allowed to each say their piece about wanting to stay in the house, and then the voting at the Big Brother eviction ceremony took place. Jeff voted first and voted to evict Casey, Ronnie voted for Casey, Natalie voted for Casey and then they went to a commercial break. Coming back from the break Chima voted for Casey, Russell voted for Jordan, Michele voted for Casey, Lydia voted for Casey, and Kevin voted for Casey. By a vote of 7 to 1 Casey was evicted from the Big Brother house. Casey headed out, but not without a few parting shots towards Jessie and Natalie, riling up the house a tad after the eviction ceremony. Announcement of the Big Brother 11 Twist Julie Chen called the houseguests back to the living room to announce that everyone had graduated, and the cliques would be disbanded. She also let them know that someone would be receiving a mystery power usable over the next two weeks. That power is going to be assigned by America who will vote on which of the houseguests will receive the mystery power. The Coup D’etat is the name of the Big Brother twist, and it gives the houseguest that America chooses the power to replace one or both of the eviction nominees. It could really shake up the house and how everything works in the next two weeks. Now it is up to America to choose who will have that power, and the voting can be done through text messaging to the selected number with further information outlined on the CBS Big Brother Website. New Big Brother 11 Head of Household Competition All of the houseguests were put on ropes with a knot on the end suspended from a rotating apparatus. The only object was for them to hang on no matter what, and the last person left hanging on the apparatus would be the winner of the head of household competition. The head of household competition did not finish during the CBS broadcast, so viewers only watching the CBS version of the show will have to wait until Sunday night to find out who won the head of household competition for the week. Next Episode of Big Brother 11 Big Brother 11 episode 11 will take place on Sunday, August 2nd at 8:00 P.M. on CBS. This will be where the nomination ceremony takes place as the new head of household puts two new people on the block. More Big Brother Articles:
