Big Brother 11 Episode Four RecapBig Brother Episode 4 Recap from July 16th Telecast
The fourth episode of Big Brother 11 was the first Big Brother elimination of the season, followed by the new head of household competition that will shape the next week.
The Thursday July 16th installment of Big Brother 11 was the first elimination night for this season of Big Brother, and meant that either Chima or Braden was going to be sent home by the end of the night. Jessie, as head of household, had nominated both of them for eviction, and that left the other house guests with the opportunity to vote one of them out. The drama of Russell taking Lydia off the block, and the attempt by Jessie to “back-door” Braden was sure to come up as Big Brother episode four began. Big Brother Episode 4 The first surprise for Ronnie was that he wasn’t put up, and of course Braden was surprised that he ended up as a nomination. Lydia was very excited to get off, and it established the Offbeats as a team to reckon with. Suddenly everyone in the house began scrambling, with the exception of the four people who were in on the big switch. Braden kept a positive state of mind though, thinking that he could get enough votes on his side to keep himself in the house, but remaining unaware of the joint venture between the Brains and the Athletes. With Russell unsure that he had enough votes to send Braden home, he started poking at Braden verbally in order to get him to create some drama in the house. It worked to a certain extent, as Braden began approaching Lydia to figure out why he was placed on the block, and she in turn lied about the fact that she did indeed suggest to Jessie that he put Braden on the block. After being called out, Lydia decided to attack Jordan, despite her having nothing to do with it. It was the wrong person to lie to, because Jordan got very upset about being attacked for no reason. Where originally they wanted to keep Chima, suddenly half the house felt she was on the same side of Jessie and Russell, and that they should send her out and keep Braden. All of the in-house drama set up an interesting revelation when the voting took place for the first Big Brother 11 live eviction. Big Brother 11 Eviction Ceremony Each of the people on the block were given the chance to say something before the vote, and Braden talked to the house guests in a humble manner, with Chima following that up with a tirade that had to be bleeped out by CBS. With the set-up by the producers of Big Brother was intended to leave fans guessing who would be walking out of the house, it ended up being exactly that. Each of the house guests took their turn voting on who they would want to send home. The order of the eviction vote was as follows: Russell voted to evict Braden, Natalie voted for Braden, Jeff voted for Chima, Jordan voted for Chima, Kevin voted for Braden, Laura voted for Chima, Lydia voted for Braden, Michele voted for Chima (her teammate), Casey voted for Chima, and finally Ronnie voted for Braden. That left the vote as a tie, meaning that the head of household (Jessie) would get the final vote to evict the first house guest. Jessie voted to evict Braden, sending him out the door as the first eviction of Big Brother 11. New Big Brother Head of Household Competition To decide the new head of household, a series of questions was asked that started with “which clique would “ and the house guests had to answer how they felt that America voted on a pole that CBS held. The competition was clique against clique, with one player at a time from each clique participating. Each right answer gave a house guest the choice to eliminate one other player. Laura eliminated Chima, Jeff eliminated Kevin, Laura eliminated Russell, Casey eliminated Natalie, Laura missed question and was eliminated, Casey eliminated Jeff, Lydia eliminated Jordan, Ronnie eliminated Casey, and Michele eliminated Lydia, meaning that the Brains won. Michele and Ronnie faced off to decide head of household, with Ronnie answering correctly, and taking over the role of head of household for the week. Upcoming Big Brother 11 Episodes The next episode of Big Brother 11 will air on Sunday, July 19th at 8 P.M. when the nomination ceremony will take place, and two new house guests will officially be announced as being "on the block." That will be followed by an episode on Tuesday, July 21st where the veto competition and veto ceremony take place. More Big Brother Articles: Big Brother
