If you want a to go on a one-on-one date with Jason, you're going to have to work for it. That's what host Chris Harrison told the women in week four of the competition.
The task at hand was to write and perform an original song for Bachelor and Account Executive Jason. Everyone took to the challenge, except for Nikki, who said she'd rather jump out of a plane than write and sing a song. Once the competition got underway, Jason said he wasn't looking for the best singer or songwriter, but for the person who opened up the most. Everyone eventually performed, and Jason decided to give the one-on-one date to Molly, a department store buyer. "Who would have thought my love for fast food would have gotten me a one-on-one date," exclaimed Molly. The One-On-One DateThe one-on-one date took place at Jason's house, both inside and out. After sharing a few words, the two began kissing. Jason told Molly the more he got to know her, the more he liked her. At that point, he gave Molly a rose, securing her a place in next week's show. "I've had a great night and I don't want it to end. I was thinking of camping out tonight. Are you down for that? Molly said "yes" and the two jumped inside a tent which was already set up on the lawn. The date did not end until the following morning. When confronted by the other women, Molly told them, "I had a great night with Jason." Want to Play Doctor? While Molly was enjoying her one-on-one date with Jason, a note arrived back at the house inviting Interior Designer Jillian, Teacher Lauren, Dental Hygienist Shannon, Lacrosse Coach Megan, Sales Representative Melissa, and Flight Attendant Naomi on a group date. The note read, "Want to play doctor?" Curious about what they were going to do, the women eventually found out they were going to spend the day on the set of ABC soap opera, General Hospital. Jason told the women they were not just going to watch the actors, but they were also going to be acting in their own scene. On this date, Shannon managed to kiss Jason, but so did Naomi, Jillian, and Megan. The date ended with a "private" wrap party in Hollywood at which Jason gave Naomi a rose, saving her from elimination. Three's a CrowdThe only two women who did not go on a date with Jason this episode were Administrative Assistant Nikki and Medical Marketer Stephanie. That meant the two were going to go on a date together with Jason. The day of the date started when both women received a formal dress to wear. Jason showed up to the pick up the women wearing a suit and tie, and whisked the two women away to a restaurant where they ate, drank and danced the waltz. "Stephanie and Jason looked like Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers. I looked like the third wheel," exclaimed Nikki. After sharing words with both women, Jason eventually gave a rose to Stephanie, sending Nikki home. The Rose CeremonyMolly, Naomi, and Stephanie already received roses on their dates, so they were safe from elimination during the rose ceremony. Nikki left earlier in the show, leaving five women vying for three remaining roses. During the rose ceremony, Melissa and Jillian both received roses. In a surprise announcement, Jason told a flowerless Lauren, Megan, and Shannon, "I can't lead anyone on. I don't see a forever and so I can't give out a final rose tonight." All three were then sent home, leaving five women still vying for Jason's heart, and that final rose.
