After a CoverGirl commercial, the trio turns into a duo and a Versace fashion show has the two finalists competing on the runway.

The girls receive word, via Tyra Mail, that they will be filming a CoverGirl commercial and to their relief, the script is in English. Jay Manuel and CoverGirl representative, Brent Poer, meet the girls in front of the Coliseum and are informed that they will be shooting a CoverGirl TV commercial and a CoverGirl print advertisement. The winner of ANTM will have their print ad photo featured on a billboard in Times Square.

CoverGirl Commercial

ANTM Cycle 9 winner, Saleisha, arrives and gives the girls advice while they’re getting ready. Anya begins to feel overwhelmed by the competition and breaks down during her makeup application.

Jay is impressed at how well Fatima knows her lines, but says that she sounds robotic when delivering them. He is pleased with Whitney’s commercial and loves Anya’s energy throughout her performance. After filming is finished, the girls head inside for their photoshoot.

At the panel, the judges review the three commercials and the print ad photo. Paulina says that Whitney acts too much like Miss America during her commercial, while Tyra says that she’s very easy to direct. Nigel calls her print photo vintage and Tyra says that she looks like a model.

Miss J. says that Fatima doesn’t give the greatest delivery for her commercial, but looks gorgeous on camera. Tyra says that she needs to learn to smile with her eyes when having her picture taken. Tyra says that Anya’s commercial, as a whole, was a train wreck, but when dissected into parts, it was the best of the three. Paulina says that her photo makes her look dumb.

Then There Were Two

During the judges deliberation, Nigel says that he feels the competition might be getting to Anya and Paulina thinks she can do better. Nigel says that Fatima wants to win so much that it’s almost taking control of her and Tyra feels that she is incredible to be able to stand up, with such pride, in spite of everything she’s been through in her life. Paulina feels that Whitney’s beauty is a facade and that because of her size, she has put up a wall in order to withstand criticism.

Anya is chosen to be a finalist, which means that Whitney and Fatima are the bottom two. Tyra tells Fatima that her face is stunning, but that she needs to listen when being given directions and tells Whitney that she takes beautiful pictures, but the judges don’t really have a sense of who she is. Unfortunately for Fatima, it’s the end of the road.

The next day, Anya and Whitney meet Ann Shoket for a Seventeen magazine cover photoshoot with photographer, Nigel Barker.

Versace Runway Show

The two finalists participate in a Versace runway fashion show. The dresses that Anya and Whitney don were picked out by Donatella Versace herself. After the show, both girls meet with the judges. They review the runway show and Miss J. says that Anya didn’t bring it as strongly as she could have. Tyra says that she looks stunning and that the camera loves her face. Miss J. says that Whitney delivered on the runway and Tyra says she did a great job, but forgot to pose at the end of the runway. Next the judges take a look at some of the previous photoshoots and then move onto deliberation.

Nigel says that both Anya and Whitney represent two very different types of women. Tyra says she knew right from the start that Whitney had something and that Anya is probably the most high fashion girl they’ve ever had on the show. So who takes the prize?

The winner of America’s Next Top Model Cycle 10 is… Whitney! Her pictures will appear in the July issue of Seventeen magazine.
