J. Alexander meets the girls at a New York fire station and instructs them to change into a pair of black shorts, with red suspenders, a white t-shirt, black shoes and a fireman's helmet within a 90 second time limit. Fatima refuses to wear the black shoes and comes out wearing her own high heels. This perturbs Miss J and he tells her to change into the footwear provided.
The girls strut their stuff for Miss J, as well as a group of firemen, and are critiqued on their runway walk. As usual, Lauren walks very awkwardly and Miss J tries to give her guidance. Amis skips down the walkway, which amuses some of the models, but not Miss J.
Back at the apartment, tension fills the air when Aimee expresses her feelings about how uncomfortable being naked around people makes her and some of the girls don't understand. Whitney stands up for Aimee and Fatima says that Whitney likes to stir things up.
Designer, Bryan Bradley greets the models and informs them that they will be participating in a Tuleh runway fashion show. The models have three minutes to dress themselves and head out onto the runway, where they are judged by Bradley, editor-in-chief of Seventeen magazine, Ann Shoket and ANTM Cycle 8 winner, Jaslene. The winner of the challenge will appear in a Lot 29 fashion advertisement with Jaslene, in Seventeen magazine.
Whitney has a wardrobe malfunction and flashes the audience, while Lauren walks way too fast and forgets to pose at the end of the runway. Ann Shoket is pleased with Aimee and Katarzyna's performance.
After the challenge, Jaslene asks Lauren if she really wants to be in the competition because of the way she presented herself and Lauren insists that she wants to win. The judges pick Katarzyna as the winner and she choses Amis and Marvita to join her in the Lot 29 photoshoot.
The destination for this week's photoshoot is inside of a meat locker. The girls are dressed in pieces of meat and must pose with large slabs of meat hanging around them. Jay Manuel feels that Fatima has only one face that she poses with and that Amis looks awkward. He continues to be impressed by Marvita and feels that Dominique and Lauren are stepping up their game.
Amis arrives at the panel looking goofy, wearing a scarf tied around her head and the judges aren't amused by this. When they critique her picture, they feel that she doesn't have a presense that stands out. They agree with Jay about Fatima's repetitive face pose and are also impressed with how Marvita's photo turns out.
Fatima and Amis are the final two standing and because of Amis' lack of focus and playful nature, she is sent packing.
